Busy, always a good sign!

We visited for my birthday. Booked in advance, a must at weekends! A warm welcome, attentive service and great food and wine. We both are the calvary, choice of three meats, well cooked with a good choice of well cooked vegetables. We were to full for deserts. They did looks good! The... read more

Walking up the steps from Weymoth harbour we came across this little gem nestled in the quiet location of Nothe gardens . The two owners work really hard and the food was superb I would recomend this little cafe to anyone who wanted to while away an hour looking at the veiw whilst munching on a cream tea.

We have been visiting weymouth for over 20 years but for some unknown reason only tried this pub about 2 years ago and have never looked back. It's set in a stunning location with great views. All the staff are so lovely and welcoming. Sat outside last July and even had a welcome from Jess the cat who is a... More

The carvery me and my partner had in here was top notch! Compliments to the chef 😄, due to this I don't feel the presentation of the waitresses are good enough, get rid of them t-shirts and give them smart blouses!😄

Worth the walk up to The Nothe Tavern. Good view over the harbour and town from the rear patio garden. We regretted having a prior reservation elsewhere or we would have eaten there - an interesting menu and the food looked delicious and plentiful.

Thought we would pay a visit early on a sunday afternoon, we booked the previous day and arrived shortly after midday for a 12:30 lunch. Having been seated we then waited and waited and waited during which time the pub started to fill up. I then mentioned to the waitress that we were ready to order to which the girl... More

Came here for a surprise birthday meal for my mum. They decorated the table, checked our orders and all the food came out at the same time. Pretty impressive considering there was 17 of us! The food was delicious and the service superb. They even turned the lights down to bring out the cake! Could not fault a thing.

Great value carvery. Less than £10 a head and masses of food. Some of the meat is a little overcooked but the vegetables are great. Biggest problem is eating too much. On a Sunday well worth a visit but best to book to get a table whatever time you go Its about 12 -8
