I stopped here for lunch with my parents and partner several weeks ago as it was by the side of the road while we were in a rush, and a short drive from our hotel. This is a great place for families. There is a good childrens playground outside, and TV's for the sport inside. Its a large pub and the food is good. There is a carvery which is ok, but I've had better. But there is a decent choice on the menu and it was all quite tasty.

Stopped for a quick lunch on a Saturday while en route to an event. It's a large pub, with TV screens showing sport. Large enough menu choice, which seemed Asian/Thai influenced. Two for One on limited menu choices 12:00 to 17:00 weekdays only. I ordered plaice with chips and peas - breaded frozen plaice, however this was tasty enough. Chips... More

We were told to try the Spa after a recommendation of Friends. We use the Trumpet Major Marstons Pub in Dorchester that do Two for the Price of one we thought that the Spa would be the same as advertised. There was two for one but only on a limited menu. As for the service we might as well been... More

I visited here with my husband on a lunch break from his work with my daughter. I was disappointed with the children's menu as everything was cooked and fried. There was no option just to give my daughter a basic sandwich at lunchtime she had to have something deep fried and greasy which I wasn't happy with. They also bought... More

Went with my friend for the buy one get one free lunch. The Cajun chicken was succulent and tasty. My friend had the Lasagne which was good too. The waiting staff were friendly but the bar staff could do with a smile on their faces. Would definitely go again.

Passing through I stopped by for a bite to eat and a drink. Great selection on the bar, always been a great mars tons fan. Staff seemed nice and plate busy. Seems a few teething problems which I'm sure with new faces will be ironed out. So much potential. Will be back soon to try again. Fingers crossed.

Today's visit had us served salad that had seen a few better days, when we mentioned it to the waitress she told us it was her first day and she would tell the kitchen staff, she never returned and all our plates had the salad on them when the waiter came to clear the table. We mentioned that the salad... More

It has been some time since we have had lunch at the Old Spa. There were plenty of cars in the car park which to me is a good sign. On Entry we found the venue to have been refurbished and the pub being run the Marston's way. It was fairly busy and is obviously well supported by its patrons.... More
