The Kings Arms is fronted by a pretty green which is in effect the village green and on fine days it's a great place to sit out and have a drink and a bite to eat. During the summer they may have the outdoor pizza oven fired up! Inside is a bit quirky, the decor has undergone many changes over... More

Tuesdays night special is pizza, and these pizza's are special! I chose the blue vinney pizza simply because I had never had a pizza like this before and it will be hard to find a pizza this fine ever again! Best pizza ever, everyone else in our group had great meals to. But if you love pizza you will love... More

Although a few miles out of Weymouth this pub is definitely worth the drive. Staff are friendly - owners Jo and Lee delightful, and the Maitre D Claude amusing. This is definitely at the high end of pub grub.

My partner and I have eaten here several times over the past few months and every single time has been fantastic. Just back from a relaxed lunch meal here which was yet again gorgeous tasting, good value for money and served by well trained and polite staff. We shared a seafood platter in the lovely peaceful Cypress Lounge, the fish... More

Had lunch here 6 miles into a beautiful walk from Upwey to Weymouth. The village is picturesque, the gardens lovely with flower beds, stream and lots of seating and space. The menu is definitely good in catering for many tastes and appetites and was served quickly and attractively by pleasant and helpful staff. However it's over-priced for what it is... More

a nice little pub overlooking the quay. we had the veggie risotto, spinach & ricotta canneloni, and the old man had a steak. All served within reasonable time period and food was super. We were all happy and scraped our plates! I was pleased with the veggie choices - there were at least 6 - makes a fantastic change -... More

Turned up at just after 6 on a Friday, place half empty, most tables just finishing. Long wait at the door as guy on the door (nice tan, strange accent) looked us up and down and tried to decide if he could fit us in. Eventually shown to a table. And we waited. Five minutes later the childrens menu turned... More

As a local resident of Weymouth, I have been to the Kings Arms many times before and have always considered it to be a great pub with superb ambience. Sadly however, my affection for the place took a tumble on Saturday when I took my family to the pub for a meal. My wife chose the vegetable balti, which was... More

Excellent food in this down to earth old fashioned locals pub on the quayside, good value & very good service, nice atmosphere too. The staff are friendly & happy, pleased to serve & go the extra mile, even checking a few minutes after the food service if everything is ok. Very good.
