A Royal Welcome

This lovely 16th century pub offers a warm welcome with wheelchair access and harbour views barely 50 metres from Town Bridge. For those who like real ale then there are several to choose from and I enjoyed a pint of Otter Ale, a tasty pint but not strong enough to make the rest of the day a blur... read more

Start of Easter weekend mother and I went to Weymouth, come lunch time tried to get fish and chips but couldn't get mothers wheelchair into either of the fish and chip shops on the harbour so ended up in the Kings arms quite empty considering every where else was packed at 1 o'clock but as we only had one hours... This is nice down to earth pub over looking the harbour. The staff are extremely friendly and when ever I visit I always feel welcome. Although I was not known to the staff they allowed me to pay for my meal when I left and not when I ordered as is the norm in many pubs these days. This made me... More

The first pint of Stronbow was fine, the second was flat as a witches. I took it back to the bar where the barmaid called her college over to look at it. She poured some into another glass then poured it all into a third glass and handed it back to me. I don't know what she thought that would... More

Went in there on Saturday night, very noisy and loud music through the speakers which seem to dominate the rooms

Absolutely amazing food, beautifully presented, reasonably priced and friendly staff. Have recommended to everyone! I had the duck which was cooked to perfection and my other half had a burger which was very meaty and non greasy. Only wish we lived closer!!

The Kings Arms is fronted by a pretty green which is in effect the village green and on fine days it's a great place to sit out and have a drink and a bite to eat. During the summer they may have the outdoor pizza oven fired up! Inside is a bit quirky, the decor has undergone many changes over... More

Tuesdays night special is pizza, and these pizza's are special! I chose the blue vinney pizza simply because I had never had a pizza like this before and it will be hard to find a pizza this fine ever again! Best pizza ever, everyone else in our group had great meals to. But if you love pizza you will love... More

Although a few miles out of Weymouth this pub is definitely worth the drive. Staff are friendly - owners Jo and Lee delightful, and the Maitre D Claude amusing. This is definitely at the high end of pub grub.

My partner and I have eaten here several times over the past few months and every single time has been fantastic. Just back from a relaxed lunch meal here which was yet again gorgeous tasting, good value for money and served by well trained and polite staff. We shared a seafood platter in the lovely peaceful Cypress Lounge, the fish... More
