I visited last night with my wife and close family. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We even had some good banter. Then came the food. Everything we had from the starters (mushrooms, prawns and scallops, meatballs) to mains (monkfish, lamb rump, pork belly, pork tenderloin) and deserts (chocolate torte, creme brulé) were served beautifully presented, and extremely tasty. The... More

We live in Weymouth and have tried many local restaurants, but Sense is the one we return to again and again, extensive menu and a good selection of wines (the 2 ladies had Pinot Grigio blush), beers (the chaps had Peroni) and spirits. We took friends along on 4 October and the restaurant was packed and had a lovely atmosphere.... More

Although out of season, you would think that with lack of numbers there would be a lack of quality, not bit of it. I firstly ordered a Zinfandel rose, gorgeous. For my main meal I had slow roasted pork belly, words are not enough, it was possibly the best meal I've ever had, and I'm not a young man. The... More

Our first meal here, despite living in Weymouth on and off for two years. I've been following the build up to the Feast Weymouth event for weeks and was looking forward to trying one of the participating restaurants I'd not tried before! No disappointment - very friendly welcoming staff, pleasant modern surroundings and an interesting menu and specials! I had... More

Me and my partner was in town looking for somewhere "different" to eat as I'm fairly fussy. All pubs were out of the question but wanted to keep the price reasonable, anyway.. At first glance I never thought to come here but was always keen to try it. After looking at the lunch menu and price £7odd for one course... More

Went to this quiet little restaurant during our trip to Weymouth and were delighted by the quality of the meal. We had all seafood & fish dishes and they were of five star quality. the young man serving was pleasant and helpful and we were served quickly and efficiently. Prices were reasonable too. I don't understand why they don't have... More

We were staying in Weymouth for the night and had not booked anywhere so walked into town to find a restaurant. We came across Sense and thought it looked nice, reasonably priced and not too packed as a lot of the other restaurants we had walked past had been (it is quite a large restaurant). The food and house wine... More

We were in Weymouth on a Saturday night and all the good restaurants on tripadviser were full so we ended up here. What a terrible place. We ordered 2 glasses of house wine which were so bad we complained and were told there was nothing wrong with it, it was undrinkable. We ordered meat balls as a starter to share.... More

We happened by this restaurant on Friday evening without a booking and were accommodated on a table for 2. The menu has an Italian flavour in the main but not so much that it needs to be limiting. We had attentive and friendly waiters and our selection from the menu was quickly delivered. The food was excellent ! When you... More

Went here on a Tuesday evening was quiet, the food was lovely and a lot more than we expected, the service was very good. We used our Taste Card which made this even better. Only fault my other half could make was the gents toilets, maintenance needs to be made correctly, not quick fix and the extractor fan needs vlean7nguyen.
