Great spot on the front albeit the views are better when sat outside overlooking the sea. Great value and a good quality honest breakfast/brunch. 2nd visit in as many months, not many better places in Weymouth offering such value and quality. A definite recommendation

We had to return to ‘The Cactus Tearoom’ after visiting last year and this is the first place we returned to. The same menu as last year and specials are still available on the boards outside. We opted for the cheese/ bacon toasties and tuna mayo sandwich on brown with a side of chips. We had a bottle of Becks... More

We've been to this tea room on many previous years on our holidays but this was my first year as a coeliac and I was anxious about finding places that offered gluten free food, and were also dog friendly (campers can't leave dogs at home!). The Cactus scored well on both counts. On fine days there is plenty of outside... More

Sorry folks but at my age I've been about a bit and the answer I got about my meal just didn't hold water. Mash potato tasted like smash! but was informed it was jacket potato dug out and place on a plate. ( Boy where's that banana boat). I can eat most things but my meal in total I couldn't... More

We went for a lunch time meal and there was a great choice of sandwiches, toasties and jacket potatoes as well as main meals. There was a great range of fish (fish pie, fish and chips, fish cakes, plaice goujons...), meat (sausages, goujons...), vegetarian (homity pie, butternut squash lasagna, burger, risotto...) and children's (sausage/chicken nuggets/fish fingers with chips and beans...)... Bread & cakes were baked on the premises so all the sandwiches etc. could be made GF which is amazing. Didn't get to try the Bistro, but will do on my next visit

just the place to have a good cup of coffee and watch the world go by. A group of us visited most mornings and so did other members of our party.

Had lunch there on Fri 1st Aug. Good location on the front. It was busy when we arrived but the foods came in a reasonable time and the drinks almost immediately. The choice was good from sandwiches to a full meal with a variety of dishes. The quality of the food was good and the staff courteous. Could have got... More

5 stars this visit. The standard of the Dorset cream tea was excellent again. The staff were friendly and the service prompt. Great place to sit in the sunshine and consume gorgeous fresh home-made scones with plenty of clotted cream and strawberry jam. Great!

Great little location as it faces the beach and a good feed of bacon, sausages, hash browns, eggs , beans and bread. You could eat cheaper a few minutes walk away down the little lanes but here you are paying for the location
