Ok it looks unpromising at first glance BUT food excellent staff friendly. First lunchtime we had a seafood assiette which comprised dressed crab, baked mussels(delish), cured salmon, prawns and onion bread(warm) and grilled goats cheese with tomato and rocket salad with balsamic dressing. So good we went back for lunch and had deep fried sardines and twice cooked chips. Lovely... More

We ate on Hamilton's out-front patio on a lovely evening in June while on holiday in Weymouth. The food was good, though maybe a tad pricey, and the service was decent though not overly attentive. We appreciated having our supper and then just going "home" to our b&b next door!

Ate here once. Attracted by simple, fairly priced menu. Service & food were good. Wine prices a bit high but so were most of the opposition.

We hadn't booked and struggled to find somewhere to eat on Saturday night and having been turned away a surprising number of times we stumbled across The Hamiltons. Small and quiet but right on the beach the friendly staff found us a table quickly. Whilst the menu choices were limited, the food service was quick and everything was of high... More

Weymouth is not the most exhilarating of places but this restaurant is a jewel. We came upon it by pure chance since it is on the fringe of the tourist area but we are glad we did. The chef was trained in London and it shows, the use of fresh herbs and the imaginative way the meals were put together... More

No, not just pizzas! Proper food, beautifully cooked, nice surroundings and right beside a beautiful beach. Only open limited hours. Its in a beachside street full of good B&Bs, if you are staying there a Hamiltons visit is a must.

This is a lively little cafe we found en route from Bowleaze cove to Weymouth. Really friendly staff and the home made macaroons are the best in town. A great place to stop, friendly staff and great tasting coffee.

Our first visit to Hamiltons last night. A very enjoyable meal after a stroll along the esplanade. Pleasant staff; small but interesting menu. We started by sharing the mixed beetroot and feta salad - lovely, followed by monkfish and scampi tails in a cream saffron sauce and beef and venison pie - both excellent. The selection of vegetables was nice... More

Walking the coastal path through Weymouth and spotted this small bistro on the sea front. Very friendly vibe and prompt service. The coffee was fresh and tasty. The food that wafted past en route to other customers looked very good and made us make a note to return!
