Popped in for tea and cake - ended up having a meal each on account of the quality and variety of the menu - did not expect such variety from what appeared to be a small seafront cafe. Had beetroot and goats cheese salad, and a roasted veg brushetta - both good quality and decent portion size. The cafe has... More

Always a great place for a coffee when stopping during a walk on the beach. Great service, good tea and coffee.

This has to be one of the best restaurants in Weymouth. Tucked away in Brunswick terrace with an unassuming frontage, you'd be forgiven for thinking it was just another cafe. Inside the furniture is a little worn but who cares when the service and the food is so good. Go for a nice bracing walk along the esplanade and then... More

I have dined here on two occasions both early evening. Staff are welcoming, service and food excellent. On the last occasion I had the pan fried calves liver and it was the best liver meal I have ever had! Cooked to perfection, generous portions and very well presented. I look forward to returning there when next in Weymouth. A restaurent... More

A works night of for 14 with a lovely Regency private dining room overlooking the sea. An outstanding meal with attentive (but not over the top service). Some of our party wanted food that was not on the menu and they were very accommodating. Food was delicate but very flavoursome. It is slightly out of the centre, but the quality... More

I went for lunch with friends. It was a lovely sunny day and the outside tables were full but even from inside the view across Weymouth Bay was fantastic. The place itself is rather tired looking but the food and service cannot be faulted. The menu is varied and caters for a light bite or something more substantial. The dressed... More

This was a welcome surprise on a visit to Weymouth. A friendly welcome excellent fish choice and we'll presented. The decor was good and all tables clean and we'll laid out. We sat outside which provided an extra dimension.

We have eaten here numerous times over the years in the evening The food has always been excellent and the service perfect. It isn't cheap but in compares extremely well with the likes of Floods and Crab House cafe but gives more non fish choice. Yes the decor is a bit dated but that is part of its charm. They... More

We had just arrived in Weymouth at Sunday lunchtime and wanted a bite to eat. The menu at Hamiltons appealed as did the outdoor seating. (There were just four tables.) The road in front is mainly used by people hoping to park and doesn't have through traffic. The beach is some 40 metres away and the pier is nearby. I... More
