This has to be one of the most picturesque venues on the south coast. Not only was the setting breathtaking but the food and service was EXCEPTIONAL too!! Highly reccommend a visit again and again!!! See you soon!!! :-)

We walked the coastal path from Weymouth to Osmington Mills and onto The Smuggler's Inn for a drink, its a popular place for locals and tourists alike. We didn't eat but the food that was being served looked to be of a high standard and we will definitely be back for a meal next year.

A group of 7 of us and our 2 dogs visited whilst holidaying in the area. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. The food was lovely and very reasonable. Service was outstanding and the location of the inn was fabulous. Definitely visit - you won't be disappointed.

Overpriced and dreadfully disappointing, half cooked food!!, staff good but food horrendous. Tiny home-cooked?? main course portions, tough meat, under-cooked chips& garlic bread, desserts a rip-off will never go back. Completely ruined a family week-end, thank you.

I have read some revievs about this pub , and I think that they are really harsh , we stayed in the rosewall campsite for 4 days and went to the smugglers everyday, they were about the most helpful staff I have ever met ,never refusing me and my friends plugging our phones in,sitting for ages at 9am,and the food was... The setting looked idyllic so we thought we'd try the place for an evening meal. BIG mistake!! The food was over-priced and the two meals we ordered showed up barely warm. My vegetarian dish was poor and my partner's chicken burger must have been cooked at least 24 hrs before and reheated, it was so 'tough'. Redeeming factor, the cider was... More

I wanted to share my 60th birthday with a trip down memory lane with a camping trip and a meal in the inn with my 2 sons & 3 nephews, sister and g/children. What a total expensive, unhealthy meal it turned out to be. i ended up being so sick after my meal and spent all day in my tent... More

Hall & woodhouse beer is some of the best - and the quality and range on offer here are second to none. As a pub to go for a drink on a sunny evening, this one is probably one of the best around. However food at hall and woodhouse pubs is definately nothing special. It maybe home-cooked, but it's certainly... More

Location of Inn was lovely and nice old building. Gardens were especially well designed but we chose to eat inside to see interior which was also very nice. Were provided with menu which we found confusing only to find out there was a separate menu for Sharing Meal. Nice idea but we feel it was a little overpriced for what... More
