Just returned home after yet another exceptionally enjoyable meal and have just realised that it is a full year since I last posted a review for this EXCELLENT establishment. I feel that I must advise you all that the same high standards of friendly, helpful, and efficient service, combined with the perfectly cooked and presented top quality fish and chips,... More

Went to the Marlboro on recommendation from a former local. We were not disappointed. £30 got us a beer, wine, starter of Mackeral in tempura batter and cod and haddock with chips and salad. The batter was crisp and not at all greasy and the fish was delicious. I think I preferred the cod though. The portions were huge so... More

Fresh, big and lovely curry sauce. Not so keen on the mushy peas but a great cup of coffee too! Staff were very friendly. We spent a good hour there eating and chatting. Great atmosphere for a fish & chip shop/restaurant.

This is a nice, traditional fish and chip restaurant that's part of a takeaway setup. I ordered the pineapple fritters and chips, and wasn't disappointed. I think I'll go for the mackerel bap next time as it's highly recommended.

We were thrilled to find such a gem during our stay in Weymouth! The chips, mushy pea fritters and cheese and onion fryit were the BEST I've ever tasted! The mushy peas have a wonderful flavour! They are soooooo gorgeous! You can tell the effort and thought they have put into making sure they taste the BEST! A lot of... More

I adore this fish & chip shop. I never eat anywhere else in Weymouth, I have dreamt of their homemade cheese & onion fryit from the very first time I tried it. And my husband happily agreed to the 120 mile round trip again this weekend just so we could go for chips. He had the cheese & onion fryit... More

Many thanks for your review on Trip Advisor, really nice to get such complimentary reviews from our customers. Really glad you and your husband really enjoy our Homemade Cheese & Onion Fryits. Unfortunately we cant do much about the predatory Seagulls other than encourage people not to feed them! As for the issues with the pushchairs we are aware however... More

We are local and ALWAYS head here for fish and chips. Probably the longest standing fish and chip shop in town and has always been the best in my opinion. Fish is always fresh. Chips always perfect. Never greasy with that stale oil taste you get in some places and you can tell the place is clean. They do what... More
