We've previously tried three or four other restaurants on stays in Weymouth, but this time we were attracted to Marlboro by the banner outside proclaiming their award as voted for #1 fish & chip restaurant in Dorset. Went here on Sunday for dinner after spending the afternoon in Lulworth Cove. Arrived to the restaurant and could not understand whether to seat ourselves or to wait for the waiter. eventually asked customers what the etiquette was for the seating. The fish was beautiful,... More

Three of us had fish and chips this afternoon in the restaurant. I had haddock and others had cod. The fish was cooked perfectly and had just the right amount of batter. Not overcooked, just perfect. The chips were equally as good and a generous portion too. Cooked just how I like them. We went in there mid afternoon after... More

Best chips we've had in a long time. Used to come here to eat as a kid and they tasted even better than I remembered. Top class.
