The Gloucester (as it is now) has been my local pub for a number of years now. But since they changed from Moby's to The Gloucester the food has gone from strength to strength. The prices are reasonable, and the quality of the food is amazing. They have a seriously good chef here and the specials board is always worth... More

It is now called The Gloucester. If you like your steak cooked a certain way come here! Your steak will be brought to you on a hot volcanic rock and you cook it yourself with tongs to turn it when necessary. I can offer you advise, if you want steak go on a Tuesday and get a steak full price... More

While on holiday we visited the Gloucester and we weren't disappointed the steaks come out on heated black volcanic rock and you then cook it to how you like myself and my wife both had the sirloin and wasn't disappointed super sweet and it comes with chips and salad brilliant experience

It was late afternoon and we were starving so we decided to eat in the gloucester. It was previously known as moby dicks. It has a very nice decor and welcoming bar staff. We had burger n chips, fish n chips and steak n ale pie and chips. Portions were very generous and also came with a complimentary serving from... More

We tried this on our first night in Weymouth as it wasn't too far too walk. The staff were very helpful and friendly which makes such a difference to your enjoyment of a meal. They reserved us a quiet table as requested and were very prompt in service. The food was good and the prices reasonable. The beef and ale pie... More
