Good business like service and organisation, everyone working together as a team, minimses waiting times. Appropriate portion sizes, well cooked and presented. Reasonably priced.

Good reputation generally, but last couple of visits couldnt set them above any other chippy. Fish was good, chips below par. This isnt a cheap meal anymore and for something as basic as chips quality could of been better.
Was so looking forward to my fish and chips but what a great big disappointment. Chips tasted stale and were not that hot, suspect they were lunchtimes leftovers. Gave them to the dog but even he deserves better. Won't be gong back, there are plenty more on the island that have got to be 100% better than this.
I do like Daniels fish and chips. Their food is always nice fresh and tasty. Although they are very very small portions and are very pricey to what i am used to. The staff are very nice and the place is very clean and tidy. Just wish they would do more offers or do bigger portions.
raw chips, long wait, snall portions; could have got and indian takeaway for the same price! Never went back there.
A very overrated chipshop - ALL OF THE BRANCHES.
Poor service in several branches by rude staff. Portions are small by comparison with most other chippies in the area.
Food is NOT the best and i've had some that was not very warm.
Curry sauce was too thick at one branch and like water (and tasteless) at another.

Fish and chips for family, good food, great service. Would use again. Daniels provide good food at reasonable prices, not cheap, but you get fresh food, hot and tasty. What more do you want?
We have eaten here 3 times and on the last two visits they got our order wrong. What i do not understand is when we go it is not a busy time but have to wait ages. Chips have been warm and tasted oily. Very clean and staff are friendly.
After much anticipation, after reading about the best fish and chips in the south west ..... all I can say is the fish was ok. Batter too thin and not crispy enough for my preference, but the fish itself was moist and cooked well. However the chips were terrible. Tough on the outside, some of them inedible, warm ups?? I...

Normally I would give 5 stars until last night ! The chips were hard greasy and lukewarm Staff are generally very jolly and the younger frier is excellent The fish is always freshly cooked and is only beaten by the Branch in Abbotsbury Road No excuse for grotty chips when they can do better
