This is one of our favourite local pubs. It is a simple and authentic pub, with a very friendly welcome and relaxed atmosphere. You are bound to feel at ease here. One of the things I like so much about it is that we can go there with our children and this is fine; you don't feel uncomfortable in any... More

The Woolpack Inn offers a wide choice of food. Every time we have visited we have really enjoyed the food. Bar staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this pub but I would advise booking for weekends or evenings.

Every Time I go to Beverley I always have to go to the Woolpack, and ever time I am never disappointed, all the food is excellent, my fav being the pork with cheese potato and begs, followed by a large helping of sticky toffee pudding and washed down with some hand pulled ale, all this with a warm welcome, I... We visited the woolpack inn for my sons birthday meal, ideally you need to book as the pub is rather small. The food was excellent as was the service as the staff were very warm and friendly, we weren't waiting very long for our starters nor our main course. This is my second visit and I will definitely visit again... More

This pub isn't all it seems. A cosy atmosphere with a traditional feel. Sunday lunch was excellent with loads of food, fresh vegetables and home made yorkshire puds. The jam roly poly was to die for! Would definitely recommend this pub.

Local meat and fresh vegetables served with real gravy and Yorkshire pudding with a variety of Crumbles and Custard for 'Afters'; excellent Fish & Chips for those not wanting the meat course. A variety of Beers and excellent Guinness, a warm fire in the 'snug' and another in the main room. Dogs are welcome in the 'snug' which is rather... More

We often eat here for two reasons the food is great and the portions are large the second and a very important reason is our airedale terrier is allowed in the snug. The staff are really friendly and the service really quick for such good food.

The food is generally good for a comfortable, no frills pub. Great in Winter as it's cosy with a real fire. You can also take in dogs. The duck is lovely but get there early as it flies off the menu. You can also have half mash and chips just in case you fancy being good and a bit naughty
