Rubbish, plastic ping ping food, Go for anything that can't be pinged in a microwave is all I can say Portions very small so sounds cheap but compared to 100 yard over road at other spot I visit regular it is not cheap. Service hit and miss Service happy or grumpy Place either clean or seems very dirty and can... More

We don't visit this area very often but when we do we call here for breakfast. Once again we had delicious well-cooked meal. Everything was tasty and piping hot and was served within just a few minutes of ordering. Again brilliant value for money ( less than £10 for 2 breakfasts, 2 drinks and a portion of toast). Spotlessly clean... More

We were a bit dubious about eating here as I had the impression it would be cheap and nasty. I was pleasantly surprised as the decor was tasteful, it was clean and the food was tasty. If you want gourmet food then don't go here but if you want good plain cooking then it is ideal. My only criticism (mentioned... More

This is one of the newer Wetherspoons, having been built from two existing pubs a few years ago. Despite some initial uncertainty from residents, this has clearly become a firm favourite for Driffield. Like most Wetherspoons, the main selling point is its offer of cheaply priced food and drink. What sets this branch apart from the rest, is its friendly... More

My family and I have just visited Wetherspoons in Driffield for a quick and unplanned meal. When ordering I was told that there was only one type of steak available, scampi was off, fish and chips was off etc etc. When I asked for a kids menu I was given a flyer that had been coloured in by someone as... Made to feel uncomfortable when asking for free coffee top ups, no spoons, saucers, milk had run out. More like a kiddies creche than a pub that sells food. Meal very average and made to feel you'd overstayed your welcome. Manager rude stating coffee top ups strictly end at 2pm.... Very unprofessional attitude. Dirty pots and dishes stacked up in... My husband and I decided to go for lunch at our local Weatherspoons on our day off. We chose the chicken special which came with a free drink. The food was great, it arrived quickly and was piping hot. I also liked the fact that the sauce (piri piri) and coleslaw were seperate so you could add what you wanted.... More

We popped in here for a drink and chat after a busy day touring the area. The place was quiet so we were able to sit, in some comfy arm chairs, have a drink and chat about the places we'd visited that day.

Very slow service and poor quality, tasteless food. The fish and chips were dreadful! The interior I found depressing as it is far too dark. Very disappointing and I will not be returning.

Apologies that you were disappointed with your visit on 01.06.14. We aim to serve customers quickly and are reviewing the staffing levels to avoid slow service in the future. We would also like to apologise that the quality of food was not to a satisfactory standard. Finally thank you for bringing it to our attention that you find the pub... More
