Weatherspoons that's Worth a Visit

Budget priced option. Great for guest beers. Had a Ham Egg & Chips for a weekday lunch, delicious. Nice atmosphere and pleasant customers, all good. Went back on the Saturday night, place was heaving and there were Bouncers on the door! Decided to look for something quieter.

Stopped off at Driffield on the way back from Whitby. Headed for the Weatherspoons as we know they offer good value meals and quick service. Parking in a free car park just outside the main shopping area.Burgers were the best we have had at a Weatherspoons and served on hot plates and without hardly any waiting.A free drink was included... Went for a bite to eat on a Saturday afternoon with eldest daughter, very clean, service was quick and friendly and food was good. Definitely worth a visit

Wetherspoons used to be one of my favourite meeting places in Driffield be it for breakfast, a drink or an evening meal. Prices are cheap and previously service was great too and the food was reasonable. Unfortunately it's going downhill fast, new staff are shockingly bad and most seem untrained in any form of customer service, communication or even how... More

Three of us visited at around midday for a couple of pints. Ordering pints of Ruddles we were told that it was off and the barrel would be changed. We paid and waited 10 minutes or so before reminding the Shift Manager. He said he was too busy to change the barrel (he had been delivering food to customers). The... More

Liked the variety of food and drink on offer and the atmosphere, dislike the toilets being situated up two flights of stairs.

We live in Bridlington, near to Driffield but always prefer to visit the Benjamin Fawcett rather than the awful Wetherspoons in Bridlington. Good quality and selection of beers etc, good cheerful service, good quality furnishings and usually very good food which is good value. Would highly recommend!

Visited one evening with my partner. We both went for the Lamb Rogan Josh. Very nice! Piping hot food and very tasty, not too long a wait either. At the price it's brilliant and includes a drink too. Will be back again in the future.

We love wetherspoons and this one in particular. Always a great atmosphere. We meet up with friends and eat here most weeks. It is not pretentious, just cheap and cheerful. Hubby likes curry night. Friday is fish and chips although there is also a full menu and the fish and chips are lovely. It does get busy but we sit... More

My friends and I decided to come here for a cheap tea out. I had rung to book a table the day before but was surprised that I had to go in to pay a deposit. I understand the reasonings the amount on no shows when tables had been booked, but was disappointed that payment could not be taken over... More
