Made immediately felt to be unwelcomed guests. Food was awful. The chicken was clearly processed and sliced off the block. The balti sauce was so bad we left our meals half eaten. Rice average.

Worst Indian I have ever had. Service was awful when the waiter came to lay the table he handed me my plate that wasn't warm then handed me my knife and fork to place on the table. The Beer was warmer than the plates so even before the meal turned up I was thinking this was a mistake. I ordered... More

We popped in for dinner on a Sunday night and had the restaurant to ourselves for the whole meal. The food was great and the service was very friendly.

On a wet and miserable night visited Sagor with a colleague and was only ones in. Started with usual papadums but was impressed at how fresh the pickles and chutneys tasted. The lamb Madras that followed was nicely spiced and was accompanied by pilau rice and plain nan breads. All was excellent. Worth a visit.

Definitely the best Indian restaurant I have come across in North Devon. Have used this place for over ten years now. Bit of a drive for me but always makes a nice treat!

I got back from Exeter rugby really hungry so tried sagor for the 1st time. Ordered 2 restaurant chicken specials and a lamb passanda, pilau rice, chapatis and nan. I was told 40-45 mins. Over an hour later my food got delivered. The cost according to the online menu was 22.90, I was charged 29.90 until I argued then I... More

Food always superb. Never had a dish we can find fault with. Can't be beaten on taste, presentation, and value. Plates always hot, dishes hot and flavours delicious. Service is always splendid. Waiters attentive but not overbearing. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal tonight. Thank you Sagor.

I took my family to this restaurant and we all really enjoyed the food which was served promptly, tasted superb and was hot (temperature not taste!). It looked like the restaurant had just undergone a re-decorate so the surroundings were very pleasant. We left with my 10 year old saying 'I will definitely come back here again!'

Went here while on holiday. Had the vegetable Thali as this was the first time I had seen it on a menu. It was well worth the wait and every dish was good. Prawn Korma was good too. Bill was £35 for poppadums, mains and drinks for 3 people.

We've visited Sagoor a couple of times a year for several years, however, this time it's changed. There appears to be only one member of staff front of house and he is rushed off his feet so it's hardly surprising he was a little brusque. There were only four tables occupied in the hour and a half we were there... More
