Very surprised to find such lovely finely crafted thai dishes in the new forest. Highly recommend the chef's recommendations

Fairy authentic Thai flavours, good food nicely presented, slightly pricey but not outstanding for the prices. Worth a visit but the Thai beer and wine list need improving. However, a pleasant evening and I like the way they add a £1 to the bill that goes to help homeless and vulnerable people, you can deduct it if you want but... More

My mother-in-law had eaten here previously so she chose it for celebrating her 25 years service at John Lewis. We reserved a table for eight people in the evening. The restaurant is nicely decorated and stylish with a small lit bamboo garden outside. We chose a mixture of starters - vegetarian, chicken satay and prawns. Prawn crackers were already on... More

Beautiful food with some of the best starters I've ever had, the spicy beef salad was to die for, but the buffet was spoiled by too little non-hot and spicy dishes. Thai green curry was, as expected, too hot for many but very lovely if you like it.

Food was very authentic although priced a little high for the location but the wine list was not up to standard! Extortionate pricing for plonk in my opinion

I am a Carey's fan and have eaten in all their restaurant's on many occasions....I have also travelled extensively around Thailand and the food produced in Zen garden is far far far from authentic in apoearance, in taste and aroma and it goes without saying that it is completely over priced even for a hotel. We waited an hour and... More

We visited Zen Garden after reading good reviews and we I am afraid we were disappointed. To start with the positives the restaurant was in a lovely setting and there were wonderful fragrance's from the adjoining spa. The two staff on duty were friendly and attentive they even gave us a couple of complementary glasses of fizz as it was... More

Situated in the Carey's Manor hotel, this Thai restaurant is not to be missed. Not only is the food excellent but the staff are very welcoming, efficient and friendly. Seems strange at first to see guests from the attached spa, eating at lunch time dressed in their bath robes but it all adds to the atmosphere of the place.
