We own a time share here and look forward to eating in the two restaurants it has to offer. The Grill Room has improved it's menu although is still quite pricy for what you get. The main restaurant The Armada is something special and if you are a foodie like me... you will not be disappointed.

What a stunning location, once the home of King Charles I believe! I used to belong to the lunch club here when the hotel was owned by Richard Branson around 15 years ago. There have been some changes but unfortunately I cannot say for the better. We went for lunch yesterday and were very disappointed. We were greeted at the... More

Hi This place could not be in a more pleasing environment and the ambiance is very relaxing. We were given a gift voucher for the above and in the main it was excellent but it should be at the price!! It would have been nice to have had bone china you could see through, but I doubt it would stand... More

We visited the Rhinefield House hotel for a meal in the Amarda restaurant and found we had a very good experience. We arrived early so we could have adrink in the Bar and the service there was very good. We were given the menus to look at over our drinks and the order was taken before we were taken to... More

My wife and I stopped at this hotel on driving tour of the New Forest. What a wonderful discovery! Fascinating history and architecture. We enjoyed morning coffee and tea outside by the pond, it was delicious and served with great charm. Tea that really did taste of tea - not just coloured hot water - and delicious home-baked biscuits. We'd... More

Friends had booked a surprise birthday lunch at this hotel. Whilst impressed with the wonderful old world charm and ambience of the restaurant things got off to a poor start with a wedding florist taking up a disabled parking bay and they moved their vehicle after being asked. Unfortunately the meal did not live up to the surroundings.

My partner and I went for a drive on Sunday and after recently getting engaged decided to go along to Rhinefield as this has always been an idea of ours to get married here. The location is just beautiful. We arrived and there was a wedding party outside. We went through to the lounge and the wonderful man in there... More

The starters we had were of such a contrasting nature that one was basically pub food and the other a not particularly good attempt at fine dining. The ham hock terrine was very straight-forward slices of ham hock. The tomato and goats cheese salad with bloody Mary was not what you would expect, with the goats cheese being tiny squeezed... More
