Traditional locals pub with two bars and outside patio and gardens. We serve great 'pub grub' at very reasonable prices. All major sporting events shown on Sky and BT Sport, regular live music, pool table, dart board and comprehensive jukebox. Very close to the train station and well worth a visit!

Friendly pub with decent food.

Had lunch here on a busy bank holiday weekend. Nice beer garden (despite being beside a road). The food was standard pub fair, well executed. Excellent value with big portions. It is in a very central location too.

Waited over an hour to be served, the food was good when it arrived. We ordered the steak and Guinness pie and the salmon. We sat down at 7pm and our meal arrived after 8pm.

We were made welcome enough by the bar staff at The Forester's Arms, but the locals clearly weren't too keen on sharing bar space with 'out-of-towners'. Maybe we picked the wrong time of day, or maybe we didn't get the memo that in this small, (mostly tourist paid for) town we should have been elsewhere.................we'd try another pub next time!

Stopped in Brockenhurst for a long weekend and had a look around. The Foresters Arms was certainly the most popular, both with locals and visitors. Its a proper pub with no airs or graces but we enjoyed the atmosphere and the outside tables to sit in the sun.

Stopped here for drinks at lunch time, real friendly staff and a good vibe so decided to try dinner the same evening. Everything on the menu was available! Unusual for a Sunday evening. The food was great the roast was good quality and the staff pleasant and helpful this pub has a real good feeling to it. Will be returning... More

We stayed in Brockenhurst for 3 nights from Thursday to Sunday. Our plan was to eat in different places on each night. We went to the Foresters on the Thursday for food and a few drinks and all I can say is what a great welcome we received from everyone. The food was excellent and reasonably priced so much so... Booked a table midweek for Saturday night at The Porterhouse in Brockenhurst. (They don't have Tripadvisor hence reviewing here). Arrived at 7pm and waited 45 mins for starter, and when did materialise wasn't great. At 8.30pm our main course hadn't arrived, so cancelled the order, complained and left hungry. Other diners were waiting for their food too and the majority... More
