What a find, quaint, good old fashioned service from friendly staff. Lovely garden, just felt right and the cream tea? Delicious! Scones were light and fluffy with clotted cream and strawberry jam, what could be finer.

The Secret Garden Brockenhurst is a fantastic tea room, except it's outside! It sounds crazy to have an outdoors restaurant in England, what with the weather and everything, but this has been planned and executed so well it works whatever the weather. There is a central area that is under a large marquee, which is heated in winter and very... More

A secret that is a must to uncover. The new forest is full of tea shops and places to eat, glad we stopped at this one. Were going to just have coffee but opted for a cheese scone as well, so glad we did, they were yummy, warm with butter and some pickle which to my surprise made the scone... More

A delightful setting and a real 'find'. Lovely cup of tea, a huge cafetiere of coffee and a tasty scone and clotted cream. Coffee had a slight 'woody' flavor - may have just been my taste buds - overall a delightful find. Price is slightly more than one would expect to pay - but the setting makes up for it.... More

Took the in-laws for a visit here when they were visiting from SA. It was a gem of a find and such an original setting. Food was a little pricey but we loved the overall experience, so didn't mind too much. Will def go back for another cuppa in the quiet setting

This is tucked away on Brockenhurst high street. It has lovely mismatched furniture and china and a great place on a sunny afternoon for tea and cake.

A total quintessentially decorated tea garden with a 'feel' to match.... a bit like Alice down the looking glass. Superb idea of the kitsch garden furniture outside & serving proper 'English' tea.... By the way... not one for the 'mums brigade and buggy's the size of tanks !!' This is somewhere I recommend 'everyone' pay a visit to just for... More

Came in as a group of four and sat down at a nice enough table; was a bit put off by the twee language in the menu but the food looked fine as far as we could tell. After twenty minutes we assumed that we probably had to go to the bar to order as nobody had even checked if... More

The secret garden is a well planned and executed garden venture in the grounds of the Watersplash Hotel. A lot of thought has gone into this outdoor cafe featuring marquee with high back chairs, garden chairs and various furniture, plus other assorted tables and chairs around the garden. Its a sort of shabby chic cum English traditional cum retro feel,... More
