Good parking, good looking building and very quirky inside. Very good service, polite and helpful. Very nice food, quality produce and well executed. Cleaner and tidier than most others in the area. Well done to everyone, will return for sure.

Went for lunch at this pub with a friend. We had been here many times before years ago with friends for lunch 'meetings'! The pub has been altered quite a lot, but not ruined, most of the character has survived. Very large car park and dogs welcome in the bar. We both had a very simple lunch; which in both... More

We had to have a meeting with some friends at a local venue to make arrangements for a dinner dance and afterwards we needed somewhere for an early evening meal. The Filly Inn with its not overly complicated menu filled the need. This establishment has a larger than usual selection for people needing gluten free. Good friendly and cheerful staff... More

Visited the Filly while camping nearby with our 2 dogs. Had an amazing lunch - great tasting and value for money. Good drinks range and friendly service.

We booked late for a birthday dinner. The booking was friendly and fitted us in. We were met with a warm welcome. The food was good English pub grub enjoyed by all our partly. The service was excellent and were able to adapt a dish to suit some of our group. The price was reasonable for what we had. We... More

We ate outside at the Filly on a Friday evening. We shared Camembert to start which was lovely then I had wild mushroom lasagne and my partner had ribs. We really loved the Filly and couldn't see at all how some of the bad reviews on here are justified!!

I ate here with my girlfriend on a sunday evening and we were pleasantly surprised to find there were still roast dinners available. Having got our drinks and ordered our food we made our way outside to sit on the patio tables and enjoy the glorious sunshine. Our meze sharing platter was ok nothing spectacular and after finishing it we... More

Love this place. The food, staff and building are just perfect. Been a few times now since moving to the area and always impressed. Nice to find a decent food pub that will allow dogs too!

We stopped here a Saturday evening by chance as it looked nice from the road. It was busy as there had been a wedding reception earlier but we were warmly welcomed and quickly served. The menu had good choice and is reasonably priced. This was the third pub we were visiting during our break and the food was the best... More

17 of us descended on The Filly Inn about 2pm one Sunday. We were given the garden room and treated like royalty. The carvery was excellent. We all enjoyed out food, the atmosphere, the spacious and airy surroundings and the olde English charm of the old building. Fantastic.
