Nice food

Really nice but found it a bit expensive.the pub itself was old and full of charm, service was good too.nice to sit outside in sun and with the dog it was a welcome break during one of our walks.

Lovely evening, nice combination of traditional New Forest pub food and modern gastro pub food in a lovely setting. Attentive service

Great food and attentive service. The steak was fantastic and cooked to my liking; and the cheese board was marvellous.

Got the wrong starter, the main course was not as advertised, and the service was awful, asked three times for drinks and never got them. Quite pricey as well. Would not go again or recommend it.

There are always some interesting real ales and the wine list by glass or bottle is good. But it is the efficient and friendly service that really... More

Food was very tasty. Great service. A 45 minute wait for food but were offered complimentary teas and coffes after our meal because of this and dog friendly inside. A great find. Only negative, we were not offered a kids menu, so assumed they didn't do them. But alas they do, after we had ordered 2 adults meals for the... More
