If you are in the area, you must visit this place. All the cakes and scones are freshly homemade and so is the jam. Try the Bumbleberry jam. The scones were incredible and massive and the lemon drizzle cake was tangy and the sponge was very tasty. The tea was fragrant and generous and I will be coming back. There... More

We found this Tea Room on the Bude website and thought it was in Bude. However it is quite a way out of town and can be found after travelling down some very narrow and winding country lanes. Watch out for tractors!! Once there the location is superb, the thatched building and gardens are very 'chocolate box'. We sat in... More

visited a few years ago and couldn't wait to go back, welcomed in and shown to a table but a different waitress took our order and didn't offer a choice of jam for the cream tea but the scone was fab and tea nice and strong

This cream tea defeated us.....huge scones, freshly baked. Pretty glass dishes full of cream and jam..with an offer of more if we needed it. Free refill for coffee. The choice of teas was impressive, and to my husbands delight, it was a 'good strong cup'. The choice of plougmans was impressive. I wish we'd shared a ploughmans and then shared... More

Went on a very foggy, drizzly day in July. Had the quiche and salad followed by cream tea. The food was scrumptious. The coleslaw was really good and the jams, apricot and ginger and rhubarb and ginger were fabulous. One scone was more than enough as they are enormous!

We found our way to the Rectory Tea Rooms from our hotel in Widemouth Bay. Beautiful location with fantastic authentic food. We had Cornish pasties followed by Cream Teas with the house tea blend which was delicious. The staff were very friendly and welcoming!

We have visited several times and took the whole family fro their special afternoon tea. It was wonderful. Lovely freshly made sandwiches and home made cake. Fresh fruit and lovely scones. Loads of tea and hot water to top up. Lovely friendly staff couldn't be more helpful. Dog friendly!!! Warm and cosy nook on a wet windy day . Great... More

We had an amazing cream tea, the scones were homemade and huge! Also they have a great selection of jams to go with the scones. The tea rooms are lovely and quaint with a cosy feel. This is a definite visit and worth every penny.
