Great

Great service, great savoury scones and great cream teas. Also has plenty of options for those who require gluten free.

Although we had a nice experience here, the staff seem a little unresponsive at a busy time. Not ideal with tired/restless children. Our eventual waitress was lovely, however it was over twenty minutes after our arrival before anyone acknowledged our presence or indicated how long the wait time would be. When we finally gave in and asked a passing staff... More

The tearoom coped wonderfully with a large group of friends in addition to being very busy with families and couples. The full afternoon tea was absolutely delicious with lots of choice of sandwiches, savouries, cakes and biscuits. The teapots were regularly topped up and a great time was had by all.

We were advised to look up this Tea Room by a friend and was told that we wouldn't be disappointed.... ....she was right! After a short walk to the sea and back with the dogs. We couldn't have been made more welcome even with two mud covered children! The Gluten Free Cream Tea was just amazing, as was the Chocolate... More

A real 'hidden' treasure. I like to think we're the only ones who know about it !! Amazing home made food. Best cream tea ever in a beautiful location, lovely staff and just walk to the stunning coastline, walking past the old church and through unspoilt countryside.

A great and unexpected find. Lovely lunch with mainly local produce and a rather different menu from the usual. The hut in the cliff close by is well worth a visit as is the church.

What an amazing tea shop! Best cream tea ever - along with other lovely food - such as great local cheeses. Also really good, friendly service too. Nice setting to enjoy the delicious scones, unusual jams and generous servings of clotted cream!

We visited the Rectory Tea Room based just outside Morwenstow, we have been here before, however we knew what to expect. We had a cream tea each out in the gorgeous garden in front the quaint cottage of the tea rooms. An amazing setting, with great food in a quiet location, topped off with excellent service. A must!!

Morwenstow is just a perfect corner of England. A lovely church, bracing cliff-top walks with amazing views of the cliffs and sea towards Lundy; and to top it off this perfect place for a wonderful cream tea in the garden. Beautiful (and enormous) scones with clotted cream and lovely fruity jam. Truly idyllic.

Lovely hidden gem. Scones are enormous and cake is fantastic. Service good and lots of knock knacks to look at. Atmosphere is a little flat but food makes up for that.
