A chippy with added extras. Plenty of options for those not looking for the traditional fish and chips, though to be honest the fish and chips was so good I do not know why you would look beyond it. Really good dripping-fried chips and the batter on the fish was a thing of wonder. Only thing I... read more

Stopped here for a takeaway and has got to be the worst fish I've ever had dripping grease and curled up into a ball, I'm sure the young guy was counting the chips as he apportioned them, also very overpriced..

Great fish and chips in a nice wee sit in restaurant. Tea and bread and butter included for £11. Nicest fish and chips I've had for quite a while, definitely worth a visit if in the area.

Stopped for a late lunch in Callander. Great selection of fish dishes and we thoroughly enjoyed Mussels, Seafood chowder, and double fried chips.

Had lunch for 2 on a Friday in August. Waitress was friendly, good selection of fish on the menu and other dishes. We ordered the haddock tea, scampi and truffle and Parmesan chips all of which were very tasty and arrived quickly. Haddock batter was dry and crispy and the chips were cooked in beef dripping making them extra tasty... More

Really good food and a good selection. Easily the best chip shop in Callander. Staff did seem distracted with meals for the restaurant and it took a few minutes before we were acknowledged and only one of the meals had the sauce added. Small things that could be easily rectified. Needs a bit of work until it's the same standard... More

This place came highly recommended by a local so we were very pleased that there was space for us on a busy Saturday evening. Tables are very close together but it is a small spot so you get over that! One of our group has a food intolerance and the waiter knew way more about it than we did so... More

My in laws live down the road in Stirling and whenever I'm up from London I insist on visiting this place. Their fish and chips are divine. The batter crunchy and the chips heavenly. My only complaint is that the portions could be bigger! 😉

Wife and I have visited Mhor fish on several occaisions and believe their fish and chips to be excellent and better than many other chipshops. That said, their staff seem to have communication problems, probably as they are predominanly of foreign origin and either cannot understand some local dialect, or are paid so badly they don't really care?? When ordering... More
