After a walk in the hills we called in for a late lunch. Fresh fish in a crisp batter, great chips with mushy peas on the side washed down with beer from a local micro brewery. Recommend the ice cream and Baileys for dessert! :) loads of other fishy options. Great service, good vibe

They cook the chips and fish etc in animal fat. Oh that's why they tasted so good! Oops...... So haven't been back sadly.......

The food is absolutely amazing - fish and chips, mussels and chowder all hit the spot. They source all their produce locally (including bottled ale) and the staff are really nice and friendly. We liked our meal so much, we came back the next day and planning to go back tomorrow too! Yes, it's not cheap, but you're getting what... More

Thank you Shaun and his team for a lovely night at Mhor. The Chowder and mussels were amazing. You're cooking lessons are going to be a huge success if your telephone cooking consultation is anything to go by! THANK YOU!!!

Food fresh and premises spotless The restaurant was full so we had carry out fish and chips and took them back to Coppice House which has a fab residents lounge.

An excellent fish restaurant. Excellent service, even though I hadn't booked in advance. The food is excellent and choice of wine is very good.

Have lunch here in Callander before heading to Glasgow. Conveniently located right on the Main Street near the church. Ordered fish single without chips, and fish on the bun with chips. Both taste good. Illy coffee was good too. Recommended.

Pit stop in Callander while on our way to the Highlands. Best fish & chips that I had while in Scotland (out of... 5?) The piece of fish was ridiculously sized (in a positive way - it was massive!), with nice, crusty batter, and a reasonable amount of chips to go with it.

Stopped in for a quick supper while heading for the Highlands. Seafood chowder was excellent - loaded with chunks of haddock and salmon, carrots, potatoes, and celery in a light tomato base. We had battered haddock without chips next - good size portion - one and a half fillets. Several fresh fish choices to choose from.
