Great fish and chips. We both had haddock suppers, which were cooked perfectly. The bread and butter pud was particularly good, recommended. The main thing that let things down was the service which was surly and inattentive. I think other comments about the relatively high cost for what are essentially fish suppers are also right, it is a bit overpriced.... More

We stumbled upon this wee treasure whilst taking donder through Callander! Ir was the smell of the place and the fact it looked like a cosy wee place to get o7t of the snow and wind! The menu is fantastic for fish lovers! We had chowded which was the best we have ever had, the amou t of quality chunks... More

I won't say it's the best Fish and Chip I've had in my life but this would easily make it into the top 5. Fish is absolutely fresh. All cooked in animal fat so the chips were absolutely yummy! You know the kind of fish and chips that makes you reach for the sauce bottles? uh-huh. This one is so... More

This was recommended by a colleague so we stopped in Callander on our way to Killin. It was a Thursday and they were doing 2 x fish suppers for the price of one. Just a great fish supper, scampi was delicious as was the tea and bread, can't ask for anymore from a fish supper really can you!

Walking into this small eatery, you would never imagine the superb quality and freshness of the fish. The chips were really really tasty and the homemade tartar sauce was excellent. Can't wait to go back there!

In view of all the self publicity, we were expecting something special but we're rather disappointed. We cannot comment on the full range of the menu as we both had the fish and chips, but this was only average. The fish was not the pure white flakes you normally associate with the best fish, whilst the chips were good but... More

3 fish suppers one with garlic chips and 3 soft drinks £35. Except the fish and chips were tasteless. The waitress was as flat as a pancake. If they can't get that right why would you go again or try any other dishes. I wouldn't bother, honestly!

When Calamari is done well it's great. Mine was the best ever without a doubt. Mussel and chips was also amazing. Next time we are in Callander, we are staying for three night and I'll be in Mhor Fish every single night,
