Have lunch here in Callander before heading to Glasgow. Conveniently located right on the Main Street near the church. Ordered fish single without chips, and fish on the bun with chips. Both taste good. Illy coffee was good too. Recommended.

Pit stop in Callander while on our way to the Highlands. Best fish & chips that I had while in Scotland (out of... 5?) The piece of fish was ridiculously sized (in a positive way - it was massive!), with nice, crusty batter, and a reasonable amount of chips to go with it.

Stopped in for a quick supper while heading for the Highlands. Seafood chowder was excellent - loaded with chunks of haddock and salmon, carrots, potatoes, and celery in a light tomato base. We had battered haddock without chips next - good size portion - one and a half fillets. Several fresh fish choices to choose from.

If you are a fish lover dont not miss this place the menu is really great and a good wine list to boot. Basic seating and tables but the food is fantastic with good service and helpful staff, make sure you visit the Mhor Bakery in Callender also

The fish was far too expensive and far too small. It didn't taste anything special. The batter was OK and the fish was fresh but it wasn't worth the money it all cost. we were so shocked how expensive it was and how plain the food was.

We ate in the cafe on a Sunday night having just arrived in Callander for holiday. My husband had the Cowder & I had the haddock supper. Although yummy it had restaurant prices so only 3/5.

Jut went too the take away window (not the main restaurant) for fake away fish and chips. They were made fresh and the batter was crispy and light. The tarter sauce was good with a citrusy taste. The chips were great and seasoned well. The whole meal cost me about 9 pounds and I split it with my husband as... More

We went in thinking that we would get a great tasting fish and chips! Aside from the fact that it is pricey, it was not the best we've had during our vacation! The service is good, place is small. Maybe, they should rethink their pricing!
