Went there one eve for a Birthday party. My partner is lactose intolerant and really suffers if he consumes any cream, cheese or milky products. So we both decided to play it as safely as possible and ordered one dish on the menu 'Green Thai Curry' which was sure not to contain any milk or cream as it's always cooked... More

four of us had lunch here on Sunday, we had booked a table. The car park was fairly full when we arrived, it turned out there was a function of some sort taking place in the function room but this did not affect the service or atmosphere or food in any way, which does sometimes happen. We all had a... More

We first found Bickley Mill after typing 'romantic places for intimate wedding in South Devon' into Google last May and after a personal visit, and a three night stay in June booked it for 22 guests in October. From beginning to end the service we received was without equal. The team of staff worked together to make our dream come... More

We have been going to the Bickley mill occasionally for many years and still remember the awful chintz and horse brasses era when it was cold and the food average. Well it's a world away from that now and has been for a long time. Its stylish, warm and very welcoming. The food is very tasty and nicely presented. Very... More

I stayed here with my family and my brothers family for 3 nights We had a pleasant stay; the rooms were clean and nicely set up We had a family room and double room. The down note of the family room was that some of the Dvd's provided by the hotel for the kids were not there and probably a... More

Lovely place and good service and value for money. Had a great evening there last Saturday. The chef changed a dish for me and it was 1st class. So impressed by brother is thinking of booking his wedding there.

Visited on a Weekday Evening. Restaurant wasn't over busy and as such the service was nice and attentive without being overbearing or rushed. Food was of a nice standard certainly upto standard for the price. Will visit again

I cannot fault our two day stay. Perfectly placed just outside Newton Abbot, the Bickley Mill Inn is beautiful. The conversion of this once industrial building has been very well done. It retains its historical charm but has all the features you would expect of a modern boutique hotel-restaurant. The room was tasteful, clean and cool (perfect sleeping temperature!). The... More

We visited Bickley mill inn twice during our holidays with parents as it is close to two national trust properties we have visited. Location is great and building looks very attractive, plenty of parking. Staff is very helpful and they agreed to have us for late lunch. Sunday roast was absolutely fantastic and plenty of it for very little money.... More
