I've been going to the Pizza Cafe for years; It's always great. It's the go-to place for lunch in Newton Abbot. The staff are nice and polite, the food is great and reasonably priced - especially the criss-cross fries! Don't be fooled by the name, the menu offers a variety of food, even Mexican! I cannot flaw this restaurant. If... More

After many friends had told us how nice it was here and all the good comments on here we were left disappointed with our visit to pizza cafe. We had booked a table on a Saturday night and were greeted by the pleasant staff. We had starters and a main pizza each and we are not sure if it was... More

Im sorry you felt a bit let down but Im glad you will give us another go.The pizzas that you choose are certainly packed with flavour and maybe the chef slightly over sauced them (next time you can always ask for less sauce). The AirCon is efficient and hits 1 table in particular (the one you were sat on) but next... Popped in on a Saturday afternoon, really helpful staff and seated quickly. Really good food. Half and half pizza with duck on one side and meatballs on the other, weird choice but worked well! To be honest everything coming out of the question looked great!

I was in Newton Abbot on my own unexpectedly and passed by the Pizza Cafe at lunchtime. I have never been there before but had heard good reports about it. It was about 3/4 full so I popped in and had the small seafood pizza (The Deep) and a coke. It came in about 10 minutes and was very good.... More

Can always count on pizza cafe. Best place in the town for price and quality! One older waitress is always very moody, which is a small let down. Will be back soon im sure, cant stay away for too long!

The Pizza Cafe is the only place I would ever want to have this meal, they serve the best pizza you will ever have in your life. Not only this, it is served... More
