Family member recommendation

This place was everything that my sister said, clean friendly and fabulous food. It gets very busy so it's best to book. It's a gem of a find, and I would recommend this place if your down in South Devon.

Ordered take out chicken and pizza. When eating the chicken it didn't even taste like chicken and the pizza was overly covered in cheese. I started feeling awful directly after eating it and spent the evening throwing up! I rang in the morning to tell the establishment what had happened and they weren't interested and didn't care at all I... More

You phoned us last Sunday morning saying to a manageress that we had given you food poisoning the previous evening. She immediately phoned me and I called you straight back and sympathised with you regarding your sickness. I mentioned to you that we had sold 100s of pizzas and loads of chicken the previous evening with no other complaints.I also informed... More

My family love The Pizza Cafe. It's excellent for a nice lunch. The staff are always friendly and there are some great deals for lunch. I tend to have the Lunch Time Special (small pizza, two pieces of garlic bread and coleslaw) which easily fills me up. The standards haven't dropped in the fifteen years I have been going there.... My wife and i were in Newton Abbot for one evening a few weeks ago and wandered through the town area looking for a place to eat. We spotted The Pizza Cafe and remembered it as being one of the places high up on the TripAdvisor listing so decided to give it a try. My wife had a pizza and... More

Been meaning to go for a meal for a while. We have been for lunch before and it was really nice so already knew we wouldn't be disappointed. The food was lovely, I had the burrito my husband the nachos and my mum the enchilada. For the price we paid the portion sizes were really good and we were stuffed... More

My wife and I are regular visitors so Pizza Cafe is doing a lot right. Nice menu with different options which should appeal to most tastes. Price represents good value for money. A clean environment which can get very busy. In the dvenings, it is advisable to book. Staff are good, service is excellent. Recommended.

Lovely food here and good staff. Efficient service. Always enjoy it when I go here. Maybe they could do an offer for members when it's their birthday.. Free drink or free dessert etc? Thanks pizza cafe!

Thanks for being such a great loyal customer to The Pizza Cafe.Being a member of our free loyalty club gives you 5% discount on all your food and drink. We always did a free birthday pizza as well but with over active 2000 members we found the postage exorbitant. We will have to think about the free drink idea. Popped in for lunch. As always they were busy but found us a table. We both had the Medium Top Gun pizza. The pizzas here are the best around with fresh original toppings and plenty of cheese. The quality explains why they have been going for 28 years! Topped off with excellent service.

Two pizza ordered, no fuss. If you want hot try Towering Inferno. Ok maybe way down on a vindaloo but still packs a punch. From ordering by phone to ready 30 mins, they will deliver though. Same pizza's as in restaurant.

A return visit with a group of 6 friends. It was a busy Friday evening and the place was buzzing, but our reserved table was ready for us. Service was a little slow at first, but the waitresses were friendly and efficient, bearing in mind that they had a full house. You do need to book at busy times. We... More
