I have been visiting since I was a child and this place still serves the best pizza. I usually go for a plain cheese and tomato (French connection) - why? The reason is not because I don't like toppings (I love them), it's because the standard of pizza is so good that you don't want the toppings to taint it.... More

The pizza cafe was a lovely experience. Me and my boyfriend both had a large pizza and criss cross fries. Both amazingly yummy! Couldn't finishing it all so asked for a takeaway box. Defiantly go back there again and reccomend to all friends.

We discovered this place a few years ago and as we don't get the chance to eat here very often we took advantage of being in the area on Saturday evening and booked a table. It has a nice feel inside the restaurant - pleasant decor and we really like the varied menu. As on previous visits we thoroughly enjoyed... More

We went to the café on the basis of the reviews on here and were unfortunately disappointed. The café is a really sweet little place, nicely done out. The staff were super friendly. However - and I know perhaps this is a matter of personal taste - I just did not like the pizza at all. For me pizza needs... More

Thank you for trying us out and I'm really sorry you were disappointed with your pizza. I do agree that liking our type of pizza is a matter of personal preference but having sold well over a million pizzas at The Pizza Cafe we are confident in our product. We are not, and do not claim to be, an Italian... More

Visited this cafe on Monday with a large party celebrating A Level results...well done kids. I have often walked past this place without ever looking inside. I now realise just what I've been missing and now have to make up for lost time. Not only was the service excellent, the menu was varied (bit wary as I don't always fancy... More

What a lovely family run bistro. It was a pleasure to eat proper home made quality food in such relaxed surroundings. Do yourself a favour and walk right past the pub from the chain of pubs bragging cheap prices... Because this knocks spots off it !!

I came here with my boyfriend the other day. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The pizza is so nice, always very fresh and good value for money. I noticed ketchup was on the menu for 50p which I didn't agree with as I didn't know of anywhere that you pay for ketchup (and it wasn't Heinz!), but we... More

Thanks for another great review and so glad you love The Pizza Cafe.Ketchup and mayo are listed in the homemade dip selection but we dont charge for them. You are right we dont use Heinz but use Daddies which in our opinion is better.Honey I Shrunk the Kids is a classic and one of our best selling desserts. Too hot to go out so we phone the Pizza Café. Two wonderful pizzas were delivered with garlic bread and cheesy criss-cross fries together with two portions of Lemon meringue. Totally yummy - delivered on Friday and we finished it all on Sunday. Fantastic value!
