I took my mum here for her birthday, I don't have much to say other than the food was amazing and the staff attentive and really kind. I would recommend this place to anyone and we will visit again.

We visited on a Monday evening and it was very busy however we didn't have to wait long for service or for our meals to be served. One of us had the steak and ale pie and it was superb, I would certianly recommend it! The staff were friendly but being called 'sweetie' or 'my darling' every two minutes by... More

This was my second visit, I came here with the good lady a while back and it was superb, last Wednesday it didnt let me down. My two mates. Scruffykins... More

The Two Mile Oak has had a spruce-up since we last ate here.... it's become more of a traditional old-fashioned pub to eat out in - lots of beams & gleaming brass. It is quite small though - so book ahead. The place fills up quite quickly. The staff are very cheery & the food is - as you'd expect... More

We visited the Two Mile Oak Inn last night for a meal. It seemed a popular destination with the more mature dining set. Menu was fairly standard pub food but done well even if the portions were fairly small. Staff were polite and efficient but one young lady insisted on calling everyone "sweetie" or "my dear" which grated after a... More

Helpful, cheerful service. Good quality meals/menu. Pleasant atmosphere. Good beers etc. Certainly worth a visit. Is on my "regular" list of options.

Sweet shop in bar! Good food and beer - service with a smile. This is a traditional pub with a pleasant beer garden and beautiful views.

Show guests to table - check. Beer choices chalked up above the bar to promote quick decision-making - check. Take drinks order immediately - check. Deliver food quickly - check. Remove plates as soon as last mouthful eaten - check. Offer dessert blackboard briskly - check... and so on through a brisk, efficient supper. Decent pub food, pleasant enough atmosphere... More

Family holiday lunch midweek and not really busy but despite the friendly service and olde worlde interior the food took an age to come out of the kitchen. To be fair there were apologies from the staff - but SEVERAL apologies - as we waited and waited! When the food came it was average pub grub and, I think, rather... More

Me and The Man were feeling somewhat frazzled and a little bit deflated after our recent camping experience in the area. Entering the Two Mile Oak Inn was like entering a den of warm, cuddly kittens, stretched on cashmere rugs. The atmosphere is beautiful, it is a very old pub and you can feel its strength and history wrapping around... More
