Two mile oak inn is a must for food and great ales. Situated on the Totnes road between newton abbot and Totnes it's hard to miss. Debs and Dave are the loveliest landlady and landlord. They have a great sence of humour and really make you feel welcome. The locals love them and they are well respected by the community.... More

The meal was excellent couldn't fault that the staff were polite as well. But we had to wait 40 minutes for our food which was a bit annoying. The group of people sitting next to us got there food before us and we arrived before them. I think thats the way they run it though. If you're in a big... More

I know we have reviewed here before, but we think this pub deserves another critique for appreciation of good food served in very pleasant surroundings by friendly staff who include Debbie and Dave the owners. Their food is delicious !! Dave is a robust landlord who enjoys laughing at himself, and is a perfect landlord to oversee the service of... More

Took my grandson to the two mile oak on Sunday.. We both decided to have the small Fish and Chips. What a joke!!! The Fish was cut into strips approx. 7 inches long and 1 inch wide. We were served with one each. About 12 small chips and a couple of spoons of Peas. This cost £14.90. I sometimes go... More

Very nice roast beef meal but tables very squashed in. Once seated a job to get out again. Atmosphere very friendly but big gap between starter and main course but would go again.

We can both recommend here for friendly staff, warm atmosphere and excellent food. A few years ago we had been disappointed but had not known that the present owners had made such improvements both to the menu and the welcoming ambiance ..... which has been our loss !! Having read such glowing reviews and looked at the menu on their... More

What a lovely warm welcome from start to finish. Had our 6 year old son with us, and nothing was too much trouble. No tuts from people or the staff Highly recommend this place to anyone
