Awesome food and servixe

Wow, second time we've been here and it just gets better. He warned, they can get busy but it is well worth waiting. Our recommendation is the sticky toffee pudding with honeycomb ice cream as a starter, then the fish pie and followed by the sticky toffee pudding again as desert. The fish pie is... read more

This pub on the Totnes Road provides good food, good ales, and has an excellent staff. We use it for family celebrations and have not faulted it

My wife and I celebrated our silver wedding anniversary here today and everything was absolutely perfect. The warm welcome, the perfectly located table, the service and the main thing, the food. The landlord was very friendly and kind towards the our grandchildren when he helped them with their sweets from his wonderful sweet shop. We are moving to Ogwell from... More

We had a family Sunday Lunch at the Two Mile Oak last Sunday. I have to say it was superb. My Steak & Kidney Pudding was possibly the best I have eaten, and all 6 of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Service was friendly and prompt, even though it was very busy. I would heartily recommend this place if you... More

We've been here 3 times in the past year and it's so nice, the last time I took my mum and daughter for lunch and we sat in the lovely little bar area as the other side was fully booked but we found that it was even nicer..The menu is very nice and the food is stunning..can't fault it. The... More

We'd booked our table for two a few days before and arrived a little before 1900h. The car park wasn't very full but inside there were a fair amount of diners who had had their meals and were settled in. On arrival we were shown to our table and were greeted by attentive staff members. There were generally three in... More

We had a table booked for 7.15 last Thursday 12 February and arrived promptly. We were greeted and shown to our table but had not even got our coats off when asked if we had decided what we wanted to drink. Our food arrived quite quickly and was really lovely and good value for money. However as other people were... More

many pub menus get away with mass produced food and frequently dress it up as home made...but here, as far as I can make out, its true. Went for lunch today with a friend who recommended the steak and kidney pudding. This dish is one of my all time favourites and, something I make. I have had some appalling examples... More

Nothing pretentious about this pub. We're almost regulars, and have yet to be disappointed. Food is consistently good, delivered by efficient and friendly staff. We often take friends and family, our friends from overseas think it's great; and that all goes to making life for us that much easier, no worrying about where to take people.
