Terrific Burns Night

Another themed evening from Neil, this one in celebration of Robbie Burns with 5-courses, bagpipes and a sprinkling of kilts. I have been a regular for 10 years (living half a mile away) and the cooking just gets better and better. Burns Night (I think the third) was the best ever- succulent... read more

Congratulations to Sarah and Neil for an amazing evening celebrating Burns Night. Bagpipes, haggis an exquisite 5 course meal and the not so "wee" dram, it was a wonderful evening. Thank you.

We stayed for 2 nights at the Foxham Inn and can't recommend it enough! Neil and Sarah were the perfect hosts. Relaxed but generous with their time for everyone. The two rooms available are well appointed, clean and comfortable with lovely views across the surrounding fields. If you love good food, this place is a must! Locally sourced produce, lovingly... The Foxham Inn is a surprise: Foxham as a village hardly exists and it's therefore a double-delight to find that it boasts a really good gastro-pub. Run by husband and wife team, Sarah (front of house) and Neil (the chef) - aided and abetted by friendly staff - the Foxham Inn serves excellent food at a reasonable price. In addition,... More

We visited here for a lunch and both adults and children alike enjoyed the food. The staff were very accommodating as we arrived late. The room lacked a little atmosphere so maybe not a great place for couples.

Introduced some good friends to this restaurant. They were impressed and I am sure will return! Very friendly welcome, great choice of enticing food and unobtrusive service. The food itself is of a very high standard, with good sized portions and so tasty, whatever we have had over the times we have visited. All round excellent venue, very reasonably priced... More

One of my wife`s five favourite restaurants so I visit at least once a month. A warm welcome from Sarah, Neil (Chef) and Heather (Waitress) with a very long time perusing the menu as it is always difficult to choose. Finally I selected `Ragout of mixed mushrooms with a garlic cream sauce which was delicious followed by medium rare roasted... More

After a very positive recommendation from friends, we ventured on a wet Friday night through windy, narrow roads to be greeted warmly by the lady host of the Foxham Inn. We went straight through the old part of the village pub to sit in the warm, modern restaurant. Our table was close to the kitchen and so we had a... More

Very friendly and nothing seemed too much trouble, couldn't ask for nicer hosts. My husband was given the opportunity to taste the ales before deciding which to buy and when undecided between battered fish or battered halloumi I was offered half and half. The food was excellent and the portions generous, if we lived locally we would definitely return
