Going downhill

Only one other customer at lunch and the staff did not seem to be expecting anyone else to arrive. The decor is getting very worn and dated. Annoying music playing - it used to be better. Most importantly the food was substandard with sloppy undercooked pizza. Friendly staff but this is going... read more

A straight forward and somewhat dated Italian. Food and service average, decor in need of some TLC, with a selection of Italian football scarfs and various Pinocchio bits and bobs dotted around. If you want an average Itlian meal this is OK but nothing special. Children's meals £6.50, pizzas between £6.90 and £8.50. Tel 01202 484910

We had brushetta and two pizzas and as I really like brushetta this one had no taste for me... dry herbs instead of freshly chopped, too much olive oil.... in my opinion chef should go and visit Italian Gossip in Poole where brushetta is just a heaven in your mouth. I won't review deeply the pizza I had as it... More

But it stops at that . Was not keen on the little man coming in & out of the kitchen & bar area (in his 60,s)as he was not a happy chap & was dressed very grubby in black but old clothing passing our table we noticed his armpit sweat . Food not too bad though

We went in the early evening with five adults and two seven and two eight year old. The kids had a table to themselves and we had a larger table nearby. Fortunately the kids are well behaved and polite. The service was quick with the kids wanting pizzas and the adults a selection of the Italian main dishes. The service... More

Stopped by Sunday lunchtime this time, everyone enjoyed their meals, all plates cleared by everyone. The restaurant is dated but this is part of the charm, it is not fast food but fresh, tasty authentic Italian. Service was great. Have been before and have never had a complaint.

I have been eating at Pinocchio's for 30 years and have never had a bad meal. Great staff always a good atmosphere. Suitable for couples or family groups, can cater for large groups also.

Hi Once again visited this restaurant after returning from France. A very authentic Italian eatery with a diverse menu. Food is freshly prepared an well presented. We enjoyed a prawn avocado starter and mushrooms and as mains had a pizza, veal in white whine, cream and mushroom sauce and the Tortillini. Drinks and dessert included a glass of white wine,...
