Visited for Sunday morning breakfast. Staff weren't welcoming. We sat ourselves down. After just over a quarter of an hour no member of staff has visited our table to take our order. The staff weren't rushed off their feet, no sense of hurrying to take any orders. We tried to make eye contact but nothing. We decided to leave and... More

Booked a table on line for husbands birthday, phoned day before to check to be told 'we can't honour your booking, we have been trying to get hold of you'. I had no missed calls, no emails. Never rely on this place for a booking!

We went some time ago but have a good recall of quality food at reasonable price. However the staff were affable and added to the dining experience.

Having been turned away from two other local restaurants in our search for an 'all day' breakfast on Sunday, we found Cheese & Alfies who were happy to accommodate our need for breakfast at 12:30. The staff were friendly and helpful. The coffee was great and the breakfast really hit the spot! Its not a 'posh' restaurant but the food... More

Poor, how can you get burgers so wrong? If you order a burger , bacon , cheese , mushroom, spicy , pulled pork. by definition they should contain a beef patty to qualify as a burger ! However not at Cheese and Alfies , the pulled pork "burger" is not a burger at all , its a pulled pork sandwich... More
