I had my 3 yr old grandson who had informed me he felt hungry! I went into a few restaurants and they looked horrified when asked, what have you for my grandson. We didn't want anything special but we were lucky to see Cheese and Alfies. It is family friendly slightly rustic. Looks like there are healthy options and my... More

My partner and I won a voucher for tea and cake at Cheese and Alfies. The voucher was only valid weekdays but my partner and I work so would have been unable to go. The manager was very lovely and understanding so allowed us to go during the weekend. We sat outside in the sun shine which was lovely, from... More

I went here the other week for some Breakfast, me and my friend both had the Pan breakfast. I have to say this is one of the best I have ever had, and the scrambled eggs... Delicious!

Looking for somewhere other than a tea room to eat whilst on holiday in the New Forest we found Cheese and Alfie's. amazing place. Very child friendly with colouring in, quizzes on the menu, a selection of toys, games and books and lots of interesting things to look at on the walls. Food was delicious - especially the pancakes. Loved... More

A more upmarket, than most, cafe. Some really interesting dishes, not on most menus, would suggest giving it a try.

Really friendly staff; even treated to the kids, after whom it is named, returning from school and sitting down to tea, or was it a snack. Anyway I always get a bit excited when I can enjoy a GF burger, which I could, and probably over ate once I'd managed dessert.

Went here for the first time on the Bank Holiday weekend. Staff were really friendly. Banana and chocolate pancakes were excellent (big serving too) as was my flat white. Nice to find a local, quirky place that sources great quality food. I will most definitely return

We didn't wait too long for service. The staff are very nice and friendly. The food was quick and VERY delicious! My boyfriend and I had the Canadian pancakes, I had a ferrero rocher milk shake and my partner had the banana and strawberry milkshake. Price for the breakfast was only £15.70. Very worth the price to my opinion and... More
