Very Good Food

We eat here frequently and have always had very good food. The cafe is spotless and the food freshly prepared to order- always tasty and piping hot. The menu has something for every one and the service is personable and the business is family run and the best in Christchurch.

Had breakfast at The Coffee Pot last week and have to say it was absolutely terrible. THe sausages were tough and the scrambled egg was the worst I have tasted for a very long time. In fact it was so bad I couldn't eat it. Only slightly good thing was the bacon! I have eaten here many times in the... More

With such nice service its a shame that the breakfast was unmemorable. The sausage was particularly bad - not a lot of meat evident and was that horrible rubbery consistency. The rest was freshly cooked. Coffee ok. Toast was cheap white sliced. Would have been happy to pay a little bit more for better ingredients.

Excellent light lunch here yesterday with family, including a toddler. The staff are friendly, and very responsive to our needs. The food was freshly prepared, well presented and very tasty. A gem of a place. We will return!

This place is award winning as a cafe supposedly, it was pretty regular when I went for drinks and some cake and very pokey, a bit cramped for seating.

So excited to have found such a lovely little cafe so local to me. Was offered a wide choice of gluten free options. I was able to enjoy choosing and enjoying my lunch like a normal, non coeliac.....a real treat. Food was delicious, well presented and reasonably priced, staff were very efficient and friendly and atmosphere was warm and welcoming.... More
