Great cocktails

Went here to celebrate. Great cocktails, with some unusual old favourites such as Negroni - which was made exceptionally well. I didn't think the food was amazing, so would return for drinks - such a fabulous view.

My wife and I have eaten here several times and although expensive the food has always been good. Prices seem to have gone up considerably but quality and quantity have gone down. I ate here not so long ago and had 4 large scallops for about £10. This time I got 3 medium sized scallops for £13 way over the... More

I stayed at Captain's Club for a weekend with my company, and it exceeded all of my expectations. The rooms in the hotel are very large and immaculately presented, with excellent views. We particularly liked the fact that the room had a Nespresso coffee machine in it! The bed was very big and comfortable, and I don't think we really... More

I cannot fault this hotel, I stay at a lot of hotels in Europe this is one of the best hotels I have stayed at .

We spend one night here last week as a mini break. I'd previously noticed this hotel when we stayed in Christchurch 18 months ago and I really liked the look of the place and in such a gorgeous location - we were not disappointed. The room was large and well appointed, we had a suite which had two floor to... More

Just returned from a quick overnight stay. The second time we've stayed and the fourth or fifth time we've eaten. We enjoyed a visit to the small but lovely spa area,I had a very nice half hour facial and my husband has a half hour flotation which he said he wouldn't try again but that's not to do with the service... Stayed at the Captains Club Hotel midweek for a birthday treat and we were really taken care of by the 'crew'. We stayed in a fantastic suite (102) which had two bedrooms, two bathrooms, lounge area and cinema room! It was truly luxurious. At 5pm we headed down to the bar for some drinks and enjoyed a few tasty complimentary... More

This is a lovely relaxing place to visit for a cream tea .Although the day was cold and rainy it was still nice to sit by the window and watch the swans on the water out side . The service was good ,and the scones were really some of the lightest and tasty you could wish for . We will... More
