There were 4 adults and 2 children at 4pm when the place was empty except two other tables. We got told as we were such a large party we would have to pay £150 advance! I tried to say our bill wouldn't even be half of that, offered to pay £50 advance as didn't want to disappoint the children by... More

Unbelievably poor service. Slow, forgot one of our starters, over an hour to take our order and a further two hours to finish. Couldn't be bothered to wait for dessert. Food pretty average as well. Portions tiny and fish overcooked. Have eaten here many times but this will be the last.

Looks great from the outside. Lives up to expectations on the inside. We arrived late at 9.30pm so very quiet but still nice. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I had Squid for starters and the Seabass for main with buttered potatoes and green beans. It was amazing. You can find vouchers for it as well. Definitely would recommend... More

My fault for raising my hopes... Fish and seafood very fresh. Good oysters. Had mussels as starter. Good, but no oomph. My main must have had a pack of butter, making it practically inedible. The waiters were friendly, but too many of them serving our table, hence the service was a tad disappointing. On the pricy side.

My husband and I took our daughter and her boyfriend for dinner, to celebrate her 20th birthday. As anticipated, the food was amazing - lemon and chilli prawns, tempura squid, mackerel pate ... All wonderfully delicious starters, and the mains were just as wonderful !!! Our waitress was friendly and attentive, although rushed off her feet, probably due to the... More

Service misses. Upon reception at a less than full main dining room , I was told our party of 5 could be accommodated but to expect slow food service. Hostess was stressed - less than a warm reception set the tone for service. Food was very good to excellent. Enjoyed a great French Sauvignon Blanc and the seafood tower for... More

First time at Egham, the restaurant was not busy so good choice of table available. The staff gave a warm welcome and were friendly and helpful through out our visit, I had the fish soup which was delightful, very rich in flavour. This was followed by the lobster which was gorgeous although a bit messy as you have to crack... More

We visited for the first time on a Sunday and were impressed. The food was lovely and the service was good. Staff were helpful and knew about the meals when asked some questions. I would go back and feel that the service we received was good and food was lovely.

This is the first time we've been back to the Egham branch of Loch Fyne in a long time, after a previously poor experience, sad to say it hasn't improved much. The good; Most of the meals eaten by our party of 8 were nice, not amazing, but nice and the childrens food is good, however the peas had clearly... More
