Egham, one of the most desirable towns of the home counties, a place that demands quality, making it the ideal spot for Eat Thai, a small chain of quality restaurants. Situated on the High Street it’s perfectly situated for a pre-bar meal or a post-shopping refuel, the lively décor and accommodating service giving it the feel of somewhere you can spend a leisurely evening enjoying course after course or just pop in for a quick bite. Whichever you choose you’ll be spoiled by a choice of menus – the Royal Traditional Menu, which features those tried and tested Thai dishes or the Fusion Menu which will no doubt excite the more adventurous palate with new and unusual flavour combinations

We fancied a local meal out and having read the reviews of Eat Thai, we decided to give it a try - we were not disappointed! We were greeted with a very friendly waiter who showed us to our table and promptly served us drinks before taking our orders. We shared the mixed platter, which was delicious and then had... More

Had a meal here recently for the second time. Both times the food was fine. Not amazing but fine for this price point. Only one weak dish was the starter of scallops with chilli dressing. Very blame and tasteless. Everything else lovely. They do a mean Irish coffee too. Strongly recommend that.

We stumbled upon this restaurant when we couldn't get into Prezzo, that was very lucky for us. We love Thai food and have travelled to Thailand several times so love the food. We had excellent service and the chef who is from Northern Thailand produced some first class food. A minor quibble! I wasn't drinking so had a can of... More

What a change to set in a restaurant and actually be served authentic home cooked food. Service was excellent and the was delicious. Try the sweet corn cakes as a starter, really tasty. Quite expensive but I don't mind paying if the food is good. Wouldn't bother with wine, have a Singha beer instead.

On our last evening in the UK, before heading off to Paris, we decided to eat at a local Egham restaurant before heading to my father’s home where we were staying. As we both are fond of Thai food, the Eat Thai restaurant looked appealing. Well, I have to say that both the food and the service were brilliant. We... More

It used to have a Michelin star but no longer. That's not to do it injustice. It's bloody good. A bit pricey but very very good

This is a well priced place with friendly staff. Green curry a highlight but the duck was only lukewarm. Prawns were delicious . I would recommend the set menu

Delicious food and service. The attendants are always polite. I've had the best crabs UK has to offer and their phad thai is amazing. It's a must visit

We have been a number of times and is easily the best restaurant in Egham. No matter what you choose on the menu, it's all cooked to perfection. The staff are attentive and do advise you if you are a bit stuck in what to choose. For pics and more detail, visit https://mayochup.wordpress.com/2015/06/17/eat-thai-egham/
