Good grub, prompt service.

It's part of the Wetherspoon chain, so usual good selection on menu. Busy spot, but service is generally prompt and pleasant. I've returned more than once, so I guess that's my recommendation.

Good straight forward pub food, with good service in busy times. And they serve a craft ale from a tiny brewery in our tiny rural Virginia town!!!!

I have been here a few times, one with my family, once with my mum and once with my mum and granny. There is a great selection on the menus ranging from burgers, salads, pastas and roasts. The prices are very reasonable and the meals often come with a drink included. The food tastes great and most of the time... More

We had a cooked breakfast on a Saturday, late morning, which tasted lovely and was great value at only £2.50 each. The service was really quick and friendly. I would eat here again.

Ok so this is wetherspoons and sometimes this chain can leave a lot to be desired..........but we were really pleased! We had an evening meal steak and guiness pie with mash and veg, chicken burrito (massive loaded with chicken) served with nachos and sour cream etc, we also had garlic ciabatta and onion rings 2 pints of guiness a glass... The food in the Linen Hall was delicious with a superb range for a family of four. It included steaks, burgers, Mexican and Sunday dinners but I couldn't believe the value. Almost all foods had special offers that a mineral or alcolohic drink. The girls taking the orders and serving the food were very friendly but the staff behind the... More

I went here with family and had not been for sometime and I am pleased to say it has got a lot better. Not somewhere I'd choose to go but good value for decent food and drinks.

food was good and it was exactly what it said on the tin. We were happy with the service and food was brought outlying promptly. The restaurant was very busy at the time we ate and there were plenty of locals eating there which is always a great compliment to a local restaurant

Ate here while staying in the area for one night. Amazing prices for food. Altogether we paid about £25 for two main courses, two desserts and several drinks. Staff were great. The only negatives were that it was quite cold and lacking in atmosphere-no music playing etc. But I'd definitely return if i was in the area again.
