I have eaten here on a number of occasions and have always found the food and staff excellent however on a very recent visit I ordered the roast of the day in a sandwich. The roast was turkey and ham with stuffing. I don't eat ham and asked for just the turkey and stuffing sandwich. The sandwich arrived nicely presented... More

I'm keeping this short. If there's one place to visit it has got to be the Jolly Sandwich. Absolutely everything is better than first class. Trust me, you must visit.

Apart from the delicious and inventive food and pastries, the attentive and very friendly manageress,(owner?), the cafe itself is full of charm with a friendly and cozy layout and lots of art to please the eye. An oasis of happiness on a wet afternoon.

Myself and my girlfriend decided on a whim to pick The Jolly sandwich for our breakfast.I ordered a breakfast and my gf ordered a quiche. She was delighted with all the veggie options as this is so rare to find. All of our food was delicious and the service was excellent; very fast, efficient and friendly. Five stars all round!!

Nice place, owner very pleasant, good basic food but a shame about the pollution of the radio playing in the background.

We found this place on a very rainy Tuesday. It was bright and stylish and had a score of 5 on the door which is a must for us. It did not disappoint. Staff were so friendly and happy to help. Coffee was delicious. Their was a wide range of home baked scones and pastries and a lovely home made... More

I was in with my partner and unfortunately the first breakfast I ordered was cold, however this was quickly rectified and a new meal brought down without any issues! All cafes can make mistakes but not all deal so efficiently with them! Lovely staff, would be back!
