We popped in on the off chance of getting a table at about 7.30pm on a Friday evening. No problem said the waitress and we sat at a table outside. We ordered some drinks and main courses reasonably quickly as we could see they were busy with some other people also waiting to order. I ordered a paella but was... More

Just got to say...there are not many places were you can relax with children and have great food. Recently visited the boathouse with family and young children and must say it was wonderful. Staff helpful and nice, menu varied and reasonable. Our waitress was on her first shift and she was excellent...Well done Boathouse

On first part of Honeymoon and enjoyed a good meal, particularly great Paella. Service was quick and friendly and the ambiance of the place was good . Seemed to me to be better to eat inside rather than in the tent outside

My family and I entered the outside dining area and took a seat at 12.20pm we where straight away dismissed by a member of staff and informed that they weren't open until 12:30pm and then the waitress walked away. We didn't mind waiting as we where keen to eat as the menu looked extremely good. We went to find the... More

This place was hit and miss, 6 meals ordered, 2 people had the worst meal of whole holiday in here. Very bland, unseasoned pasta, burnt pizza crust, some parts of meal were forgotten and the side salad was limp. Staff were ok.

Whilst I can echo some of the previous observations about low chairs relative to table height, overall it works. Food was good in both presentation, quantity and quality. First time to have bottled Doom Bar beer. Overall very happy.

This place looks great from the outside and inviting too with the pizza oven blazing away - a tempting sight on a blustery day on the Town Quay - or any sort of day really. But inside I found the small mistakes irritating before the food appeared. The seats are too low for the tables so it's high elbow time... More

I went here on a cold rainy evening in Fowey. We had booked to try The Bistro but got a call to say they were closed as the drains had backed up! We got a table by the window and service was very good. Food was Italian and nothing special shared starters of prawns in garlic and a garlic bread... More

I visited this restaurant with my son during the Easter break whilst holidaying in Cornwall. We had visited Fowey earlier in the week during the day and had seen this restaurant so thought we would return and try it one evening. We weren't disappointed. The internal décor creates a welcoming ambience and you can see through into the kitchen which... More
