Come here for breakfast (and lunch )

We came for breakfast and it was delicious, freshly cooked and served with a smile. We had fun looking for 'Wally' whilst we were waiting and appreciated the obvious effort which had gone into making this little café a place of quirky interest.

Popped in as we were hungry & it looked inviting. Great fresh crab sandwiches. Husband had the mackerel & chirozo bagel. Scrummy! Really pleasant 'proper' cafe.

Very popular for breakfast for both locals and visitors! With just enough tables to seat those eagerly waiting to come in at 9am, the two ladies that run the cafe had it down to a T! A great range of options available, including Veggie sausages for those interested! 80s music and old games to play while you wait (shortly) such... More

Our last morning in Fowey and we visited the Lifebuoy Cafe for breakfast. It is lovely and comfy, friendly staff and has good plentiful food. There are games on each table to keep the children entertained while you wait for your order to be freshly made. We had 3 Lifebuoy Breakfasts which were around £5 and very enjoyable, one bacon... This is a brilliant little place that is stuck in the 1950's-1960's with a great selection of food, games to play at the table and a brilliant atmosphere. What this place lacks in size it makes up for in presence. They also slow dogs inside which was great for us.

We dived in here without really looking due to a downpour. What a gem we found. Friendly staff, good food and drinks and games for the kids. Just perfect and proof that good things come in small packages.

The Lifebuoy Cafe serves tasty food in a very pleasant setting. The menu combines typical British dishes - fish fingers, baked beans etc. - with some local touches such as Cornish Tea (that actually has cheese an no tea in it). For the kids there are also favorites like peanut butter and jam sandwich. There are games on the table... More
