Happy people, top sausage and egg sandwich, perfect coffee and it takes dogs! These guys have created a great retreat away from the ridiculous traffic problem in this town.

This is my first ever TripAdvisor review which tells you how good I think this cafe is. One of the best cafes I've ever eaten in. They've got it just right, good quality food, excellent staff and perfect atmosphere. The vintage games and nick nacks to keep you occupied and encourage diners to interact as opposed to checking phones every... More

We stopped here for a quick tea, basically after having read all the comments in TA, and we were not disappointed. The Victoria sponge was really good and the place is lovely and quiet, I very much enjoyed a little cup of tea here right before they closed.

We visited on a warm day and sat outside overlooking the river. Staff were friendly and helpful, the food took about 20 minutes to arrive but we had time to spare and admire the view.

The food took a while to arrive, but since it was all freshly cooked that's fair enough! They were lovely and friendly.

Visited the lifebuoy cafe after a review from Esquire magazine. What a delightful experience. The cafe itself was so quirky and there was a bonus of playing connect 4 while we waited! The breakfast was delicious and the sausage definitely worth a try. Despite that we arrived just after 12, they still allowed us to order a breakfast! A huge... More

Visited this place for breakfast on a number of occasions while staying along the Esplanade, and what a pleasure it was. The staff were always friendly and helpful, and the decor of the place, different in a very nice way :) Sausage and bacon sandwiches were the order of the day and were lovely, though on the final day we...
