A Little Gem

I visited here twice in November & was impressed by the friendliness of the staff & the quality of the food. The fact that the cafe is dog friendly was also a definite bonus.

We visited here one rainy December morning with our dog. Very welcoming staff and very comfy cafe, excellent simple breakfast food. Would recommend and will visit again when in the area.

I love this little cafe especially with the grandchildren, they have games on the table to keep the children happy. Food simply but very nice. Atmosphere warm and inviting.Nothing is to much trouble.Just be aware they do not take payment cards.Prices very good.

What a lovely cafe this is. Some lovely touches and very good choices on the menu. I would recommend this establishment without hesitation. I had a great "Fat buoy" breakfast and my partner a veggy one. It was tasty and well presented. Enjoy.

Very welcoming hosts, even though it was very busy. Perfectly cooked breakfast with delightful toast and a steaming mug of tea. We always look forward to our brunch at the lifebouy, and were very peased to see that the standard is being maintained...thanks again! Try it next time you are in Fowey.

We had our breakfast here today. The food was tasty and hot. It was busy but the food flowed out of the Kitchen with a sense of capability and good humour. Great atmosphere, great prices.

We've intended to eat here on our last 2 visits to Fowey but it's always been really busy! Luckily we were visiting a little out of season this time so we were finally able to pop in for breakfast. The food was good (and locally sourced) and the quirky decor was fun. Pretty sure we would visit again.

We had a very tasty fry up at the cafe. It has a great vintage atmosphere to start the day with. It is quite small and cosy but very personal. The cutlery and crockery is all vintage and we loved the selection of teapots and playing a board game while waiting for breakfast to arrive.
