Always busy always fresh, excellent menu choice could happily go back. Just love fresh fish. Always happy to wait for a table because the wait is worth it

I can highly recommend The Bistro. We called in without a booking and even though the restaurant was busy they managed to accommodate us. The waitress who served us was excellent too, good service and very friendly. The food was wonderful and we had a good meal and relaxing evening.

It was our first time and we were not disappointed. The food, wine and service were all brilliant. Will definitely return.

This hasn't got the atmosphere or decor of other restaurants in Fowey but the food is beautiful. The charcuterie sharing platter was delightful and the silver mullet my husband had was the tastiest sauce he'd ever eaten! My lamb shoulder was also delicious. Deserts also to die for. I would highly recommend this for the food alone - best in... More

We dropped in early without a booking and were lucky to get a table as it got quite busy quite quickly. It was a nice, varied menu and my husband raved about his cassoulet. My steak was also excellent. I'd be glad to go back if I lived locally.

We had a very good evening here with six of us. Pizzas, steak, crab linguine and slow cooked lamb. All excellent with clean plates all round. Good choice of starters too. Good service; not rushed but efficient. A very pleasant evening.

Very disappointed due to bad attitude and rudeness towards disabled people. Very ungracious as doors open and people inside refused a drink to disabled elderly lady and not allowed to sit outside saying that they were closed yet obviously people inside drinking. Management owner needs to take responsibility for this and retrain his staff in manners and people management.

We ate here for dinner after having an excellent lunch here a year earlier. Sadly we were a bit underwhelmed. I had the liver to start, which came on small pieces of toast. Sadly the livers were overcooked and it was a very small portion size, which for a charge of about £8 is really bad value given the cost... More
