We visited this restaurant with a living social voucher and were pleased that we did so. The décor is stylish and tables well spaced for privacy. The service was excellent , but not obtrusive. The food was different to the normal " rogan josh ", beautifully presented and tasty. We thoroughly enjoyed the shared starter and the main "platter" came... More

If you are looking for a conventional 'Indian' meal then this may not be the restaurant for you, however, if you a happy to try something a little different the please give Ravals a try. The food is subtle and thoughtful - we had the early evening menu which turned out to be a perfect size. The popads come with... More

A living social voucher lead us to this wonderful venue with exceptional food. It was very different and definitely one to be repeated. Authentic tastes, wonderful presentation and superb staff who were attentive yet unobtrusive. The food was filling but light and not at all greasy. A super place to go with friends or as a couple for a very... More

Visited with Living Social deal. All 3 of us enjoyed sharing the starters. The food quality was exceptional as usual. Raval is more expensive than your typical Bangladeshi restaurant, but the food bears no comparison. If you provide exceptional food, you need to employ exceptional chefs, who don't come at your typical salaries - hence the customer has to pay... More

We visited the restaurant using a Living Social voucher. The deal was two courses from the early evening menu and we started with a platter to share. The main course was very well presented and came with a vegetable and lentil dish. I opted for the salmon and my partner the lamb. Both dished were delicious and very filling -... More

Visited with a Living Social deal on the early evening menu midweek. Restaurant is modern and I loved the local quirky combination of paintings and prints. Staff were efficient. Food was good, with some good tastes and a rich consistency to the sauces. Enjoyed a shared platter starter and lamb and chicken platter mains both served with lentils, veg dish... More

This restaurant has won many awards and it is not hard to see why. It is so different from the normal Indian restaurants. You can tell how classy it is from the moment you walk in. The staff are very friendly and attentive, as was the manager on the evening we visited. We had a Living Social voucher for the... More

Personally I didn't find it expensive as others have. Really good food and excellent presentation. Something different from standard Indian fare. Great evening if any negative comment they need to improve the speed of getting drinks to the table.

We (a couple) have just returned form this Restaurant for the Seven Course Tasting Menu which we used a voucher so we paid half price. The first 'course' contains 4 different small servings all served on one plate...one of these items -Mini puri filled with lightly spiced lamb, ginger, garlic, chilli and curry leaves did not contain any lamb or... Despite the many accolades bestowed on this restaurant (or possibly because of) I am compelled to write a less than favourable review. Having been fortunate enough to have travelled extensively throughout India and sampled the very best of Indian cuisine I can honestly say that this is a classic case of style over substance. Formulaic and pretentious, the food was... More
