Fab afternoon tea with a view!

Booked afternoon tea for my friend's birthday. Fortunately, she left the car at home so we went for the champagne option. She selected an Americano and I chose Earl Gray - top ups available for both. The sandwich selection was immaculately cut and was an interesting collection of the food from the... read more

Visited for lunch. First impressions not good, stepped out of lift to be faced with 3 unsmiling staff gathered around bar who ignored us. Asked if we could get a table, server asked did we have a booking. There were only 3 other tables occupied! Food was unexceptional, only notable point was that my chicken was raw at one end.... Having chosen to have an early dinner, the 3 course offer for £18.50 was excellent. My wife and I do 'swappies' so we got to try two dishes from each course and they were all superb - lovely fresh flavours that blended together perfectly. We felt very well looked after and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

We chose to eat before 7pm to take advantage of the 3 courses for £18.50 offer. It didn't disappoint, food was fabulously presented and of a good quality. The Chocolate creme brulee was to die for and a huge portion! We've eaten here several times and we're always impressed with the atmosphere, food and service.

We visited Six for a Sunday afternoon tea. The staff were charming and efficient, the food was lovely and the views are magnificent. The clientele in the early afternoon was a mixture of families and groups of young women. Highly recommended.

We went for Sunday lunch to this beautifully located restaurant to celebrate a 40th birthday. Some of our party were vegetarians which was unfortunate since the the only thing on offer for them was a most unappetizing form of polenta supposedly with wild mushrooms of which there were few. I had in fact said there were vegetarians amongst us when... More

Excellent service, really nice selection of good quality sandwiches, cakes and scones and tea pot refills. Great view on the top floor of the Baltic, and truly excellent staff. My only criticism would be the acoustics, with so many people talking at once, it was quite intense!

We went for my friends 40th birthday and had the early evening menu . 2 courses for £16 or 3 for £18. This was an absolute bargain. The food was well presented and delicious. The waitress was attentive and venue lovely atmosphere. Definately recommend!

We booked the private dining area on floor five for a 50th birthday celebration. The event was organised for us by Jessica from Six Restaurant who made the whole process easy and hassle free for us and couldn't have been more helpful. The weather was kind to us and the view from the room was fantastic. The food was excellent... More

Stunning location but the food was below expectations. Also we had to ask for the wine menu before the meal and again for dessert wines. The restaurant was busy; but was very noisy and this spoilt the night too. Would we go again? Probably not; there are other restaurants nearby that has better food and more attentive/friendly staff.
