Thursday unexpected steak night.

We stayed in Grantham for a night and was recommended the Gregory for food. The info on trip advisor was ok, but there seemed to be better in the area. We was so happy with everything. We arrived to a selection of 4 cask ales and loads of lagers. I'm a bitter drinker and hard to please. The... read more

It is situated in a pretty popular village opposite Harlaxton Manor with it's extensive gardens which are open to the public from time to time. The bar and restaurant are busy most of the time particularly at weekends when it advisable to book Food is of a vry high... This is our local, we visit once every month or so. The food can be really good, but it can also be lacking; about a 50:50 split. Examples: blah and mushroom pie with a single mushroom crumb, signature salad with hardly any salad, I could easily go on. We often play hunt the missing items, sad but true. All this... More

Going here every boxing day, the food is prepared from scratch with large cuts of beef, large Yorkshire puddings and large portions of veg for the table. (We had Sunday dinner as a table)

Came across "The Gregory" on our way to Grantham, thought it was a Pub, but in fact it is a Restaurant, pleasantly surprised the Staff make you very welcome and they have a good selection on the Menu, excellent food, well worth a visit!!!! Will definitely visit again, when travelling to Lincolnshire.

This is a favourite of ours so I've finally decided to write a review as our last couple of visits really were very good! I like that although there is always certain regulars on the menu there is also something a bit different and special on the menu. The last time we went I decided to go for 'cods cheek'... More

We decided to try The Gregory after driving past a couple of times, we were not disappointed! Got there early and the staff were friendly, asked if we wanted a drink or to go straight to the table, we decided on the latter, had to wait a while for our drinks after ordering them but the gentleman who took our... Been to this pub twice. Once for Sunday roast which was one of the best I've had in a long while. The second time was part of their special offer and had a decent home made burger. Only thing letting the place down is the rather slow service but apart from that it's a very welcoming place to eat.

Always a ''must do'' when we visit Grantham(we are ex-local), The Gregory never disappoints. The food was superb, especially the Pigeon and the Beef Blade, the service and atmosphere impeccable. The Wine list stunning but a little pricey, being out of stock of their best selling Marlborough was the only glitch in an otherwise perfect evening out.
