We went at The Gregory for a special celebration meal. I booked a table few days in advance and I stated we had a baby in a pushchair so they knew we would need a bit of space. On arrival we were pleasantly surprised with the decor and the atmosphere. We were taken to our table right in the far... More

Dropped in today for lunch as we were passing by. Good clean pub/restaurant. Excellent bar and furnishings. Good layout. Proper napkins. Excellent service. Lively atmosphere. Not expensive. Great fish and chips, gammon and eggs and smashing burger. No complaints. Will go again.

My Partner and I came to The Gregory for lunch when we were on holiday this month and had a very nice lunch. First thing of note is that they actually have sandwiches available for lunch which is a bit of a rarity these days, second thing to note is that they were really good. I had homemade fish finger... My eldest Step Daughter decided to have a family birthday meal at the Gregory, for a change. Soooo glad she did. There was 11 of us, and there were also several other big tables in as well as the rest of the place being full. The food was lovely, the atmosphere and setting fab, and the service was 'almost' perfect.... More

Decided to have a little treat and have lunch out for a change as we only live 10 minutes away. This really is a very nice restaurant/pub, service and food is top notch and with the log burner going makes it a very warm atmosphere, I hate going into cold pubs!! I had the fish & chips and the other... More

We always enjoy going to The Chequers at Woolsthorpe and the Gregory at Harlaxton, both of which are owned by Jo and Justin. In the past we felt that the standard was slightly higher at the Chequers and have favoured that rather than the Gregory. On our recent visit to the Gregory the standard seems to gone ‘up a notch’... Ravenous after having completed a walk through the Vale of Belvoir, we espied the Gregory and went in to enquire as to whether or not they served sandwiches. The sandwich menu catered for the varied tastes in our party and we liked the fact that we could opt for either a cup of soup of French fries to accompany our... More
