Visited this lovely village pub many times. Always well looked after by friendly attentive staff who go out of their way to look after you. Great menu and wine selection in very pleasant surroundings and atmosphere.

Four of us went for dinner on Sat night it was very busy and a buzzing atmosphere, we wanted to sit and have a drink before we ordered, we sat in a large area on the right as you go in the building which was empty so quiet for us to have a good catch up. My leek and chestnut... More

I've been here a couple of times and was very happy, but it was when I took my son and his friends for a birthday meal. Our orders for drinks were prompt, and once they were all done we could order the food. The waiter was very patient with the young lads , who took little longer than normal to... More

Returning home from Christmas shopping in Grantham, and stopped at The Gregory in Harlaxton for a quick bite. It was warm and cosy. The staff were polite and friendly, and the food was excellent. Wife's gammon was the best she had had for a long time, and my gurnard was cooked to perfection. My only regret is it is not... More

My family took me out for my birthday,on saturday 21st and we had a lovely meal near the roaring log fire.Only disappointment was one childs' pasta bolognese which seemed to be just fried mince and a lot of chopped tinned tomatoes - not a proper ragu. Note to chef: some kids have good food at home and we expected better!!... More

Took my partner and best mates out for a meal here a few weeks ago. I've visited the pub on more than three occasions now and have not been let down once!! The first time I had steak, which was wonderfully cooked and the chips tasted great. This time I had the steak again and it was perfectly cooked!! They... More

We eat out at least 2 to 3 times a week and it is very rare that we can review a restaurant so favourably.. We enjoyed an excellent Sunday lunch here with the mother in law The food was lovely ,the staff were very polite and professional, all served in great contemporary surroundings...Wish this restaurant was nearer to where we live...
