Good lunch and nice walks

We recently visited the Revak Lodge, near Grantown on Spey. There is plenty to keep all ages happy. There is an adventure playground for the kids, young and old, and lovely woodland walks where if you're lucky you might just catch a glimpse of some shy Scottish wildlife - we saw some red... read more

Excellent food, service and attitude. Also they keep the place spotless and are an example of good practice.

Revack Country Estate has an excellent conservatory-style restaurant in a delightful woodland setting. It was busy on the day we called, but our jacket potato lunches appeared very quickly accompanied by truly imaginative salads. Mixed leaves, mixed pulses, cucumber, carrot, beetroot and nuts, topped with a cape gooseberry. The tourist goods in the adjoining shop are pretty expensive but the... More

We have been going to are act for a few years now on the odd occasion. The first time we went approx 5 years ago it was a sunny day with seating outside. There is no doubt that the venue and grounds is stunning but the restaurant has left us disappointed the last couple of times. Expensive food and not... More

Although the road signs from Grantown were a little missing, the walks through the estate with great scenery and wildlife was topped with a visit to the lodge. Super coffee and cakes, and although we did not have a full meal, the food looked excellent and all at reasonable prices. Another hidden gem in the Highlands.

We always pay several visits to Revack Lodge for lunch when we holiday in the area! It is in a brilliant setting and the food is delicious! The views from the conservatory are awesome and being able to watch the large number of different species of wild birds as well as the red squirrels is incredible! The large selection of... More

This is a great place to go for a relaxing coffee, lunch, or bigger meal. Sitting in the conservatory is highly recommended, as you're likely to see red squirrels as well as a variety of birds. The food is tasty and well priced, and the staff are exceptionally friendly. The giftshop has a wide range of products, and the estate... More

I was staying in the area and decided to visit the Revack Estate for a light lunch and a dog walk. Unfortunately I didn't bargain on the STRICTLY NO DOGS signs that are posted all around the main buildings and car parks. Leaving the dogs in the car, my sister and I had a pleasant lunch in comfortable surroundings. We... More

Amazing food today - top quality...again. Quite regular visitors here and can honestly say that the food has never given cause for complaint. Main meals delicious (Sunday buffet is excellent value) and cakes/puddings to die for! Excellent coffee too. Staff are wonderful - friendly, attentive...but of course, giving them a little bit of respect for their hard work goes a... More

This was recommended to us as a great little gift shop with a superb restaurant - and they weren't wrong! Tucked away off the main road (follow the signs) lovely driveway up to the lodge, and lovely gardens. The lodge has a great gift shop with a variety of clothes/candles/jewellery/gifts. The restaurant was extremely pleasant, a table in the conservatory... More
