We enjoyed 2 dinners at the Garth restaurant while staying in Grantown-on-Spey. Arrive early and you will hear Spud the Piper playing his tunes around 6pm! Tasty meat and fish dishes. Very accommodating waiting and kitchen staff.

Friendly staff, excellent food and a decent wine list-all at reasonable prices. And afterwards there is a superb selection of Scottish malt whiskies to try..we're still working out wat through them!

The Garth has an excellent local reputation & if you try it you will see why. Sure you can eat cheaper, but better will be hard to find. We run a small B & B 3 miles away & recommend The Garth to our Guests who require an evening meal, They never return disappointed.

We have had two meals here within the week. Menu is imaginative, good selections and daily specials. Service is very good, with humour, value for money particularly if you go for the early bird special - and if you go early you also have a piper!

Had read reviews of where to eat in Granton-on-Spey and went to the Garth for lunch after a strenuous walk from Nethy Bridge. Had a nice dinner here two nights in a row. Friendly service, good food. Great little bar to unwind after dinner and meet people from around the world.

The Garth offers a good selection of bar meals and more substantial lunches served in beautiful surroundings with helpful and friendly staff.

A very good restaurant in the beautiful town of Grantown-on-Spey. My wife, I and the couple we travel with had a super meal, in a very clean and orderly restaurant. The staff were extremely pleasant and quick.
