A great find!

We enjoyed a wonderful very large portions lunch here which was great! It was busy but we were looked after by very friendly staff. The wine was also well priced and we were happy customers. If we are in the area again we wouldn't hesitate to return!

A group of girls dined here last night and it was our first visit in an evening. The restaurant was quiet with only another table of 5 in when we were there. Considering how empty the place was service was very slow and once food was ordered we had to wait for quite a while for it too arrive at... More

On Sunday my daughter said lets go for lunch but not 'Sunday Lunch' so we ended up at this lovely place & even though we are local, neither of us had eaten here before - but will be definitely be going back. Portuguese managed - great food - wonderful service - not to expensive. There is a craft shop at the... More

I eat here as often as possible and usually at least once a month. I work close by and have to resist going in each day. The quality is always exceptional. The food is gorgeous and the team are just lovely. The best part for me are the olives, bread and herby butter you get when you order food which... More

I was visiting the Quayside Plaza to pick up some items from the adjoining shop and stopped in for a coffee. The bistro/restaurant is eclectic with Asian/Oriental and Mediterranean art and features. The service was informal but attentive, and the atmosphere calming. Its location across from the docks makes parking a bit of a problem, but not overly so. I... More

I cannot praise thus restaurant enough. Situated away from the sea front at historic south Quay on the river, it is miles away from the burger and doughnut joints in town. Comfy seating in an unusual craft shop with original art for sale. Carefully managed by the enterprising Portuguese owner it offers a large and varied menu from sandwiches and... More

After playing mini golf next to Brittania Pier, we sauntered down towards the Nelson Museum hoping to find somewhere for lunch on the way. Too many burger bars later, on arriving at South Quay, we thankfully stumbled across a small restaurant in a shop. An excellent trio of cheeses salad and a steak baguette accompanied by a local beer &... More

Visited whilst on a day trip to Gt Yarmouth and it totally lives up to it's good reviews! We were given delicious home made bread with garlic butter and olives to eat whilst we waited for our food. We ate fettuccine with mushrooms and chicken in citrus sauce - both very good! : )

My family and friends love Quayside - only reason I haven't provided a review before is because I didn't want too many people to know about it! Too late! Word has got around and now it is now necessary to book! The food, wine and service are consistently very good and the menu has something for everyone. The staff are... More

This is a family run restaurant. The food is lovely, the service is fantastic and the young husband and wife are both friendly, giving a warm welcome. Throughout the summer there are themed nights some with music. This is well worth a visit.
