Interesting restaurant experience and well worth it!

Visited The Black Rock Grill as heard about the 'Hot Rock' experience here. Definitely did not disappoint! We turned up not knowing what to expect and we were blown away! The waitress was perky and clearly loved her job from her excitement about serving us. You get bread for an appetiser and... read more

We went there for a family night out. It is a nice place with great staff. But it is not my idea of a nice meal. The novelty of hot plates and cook your own food on a plate covered in salt. Is not great. Yes the food is all fresh and the meat nice and lean. But at £35... More

We came to celebrate a friends birthday and booked a table for 8 people and 8pm, on arrival our table was not ready in fact it never was, we had to ask several times for napkins before finally getting some. We were told they had run out of certain starters so my son went without, poor show. When we got... More

The food is always really good. The more adventerous can have the 'exotic' meats which worth the little extra money you have to pay. Great experience overall, I have been a couple of times and not been disappointed yet. It is a bonus if you are a black rock member also in the fact that Wednesday and Thursday nights are... More

Have been here on many occasions and have never been disappointed. Very interactive as you are cooking on you own individual lava rock which adds to the experience.

We visited the Black Rock Grill when it first opened. The meal is cooked at your table by yourself on a lava rock. The meats provided are good quality beef, seafood, scallops, chicken etc. with fries and salad brought to your table. In all a very different experience, good food, cooked just as you like it, by yourself. Give it... More

Visited with my wife yesterday evening for my birthday. Warm welcome on arrival, and shown immediately to our seats. Our server was lovely, very friendly. Food was great, I even tried the optional exotic meat special for an extra £3.50, which was bull and buffalo. The lava rock worked really well and my wife and I had a great evening.... More
