We visited the Black Rock July 2013 our experience there was EXCELLENT. Unfortunately our visit on the 9th July 2014 did not come up to our expectations. It was extremely noisey and very busy. We paid £50 to Potters for dining experience, we learned that everyone else but us were paying two for the price of one, turned out to... More

This was our first visit to the Black Rock Grill. Went for my birthday after it was recommended to us and we weren't disappointed. Our waiter was friendly and attentive and kept our plates topped up with fresh fish and meat, which was delicious cooked on our personal hot rock. Starters and desserts were gorgeous too. Will definitely be going... More

Already been to the black rock grill 4 times (3 just this month!) and have another meal booked there for the end of the month. Well worth the money as they keep on topping up your meats and side dishes and love being able to cook my meat how i like it. Would def recommend to everyone.

We decided on a spur of the moment meal at the Black Rock Grill as a treat. Although this initially seems a little expensive at £35 per head, the food and experience are top notch. We sampled the bread and dips whilst waiting for the starter to be served. The brie parcels were delicious and cooked to perfection. The main... More

From the moment we arrived and greeted by Simon, through being served by the lovely Connor, this was a wonderful night. The starters were so tasty and beautifully presented. The main event with the astonishingly hot rock.... Wow! Steak and lamb were tender and flavourful, salmon was lovely. Super fresh salad and noodle dish. Every step the staff explained and... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The service was excellent and we were continuously asked if we required more food or drink. Waiter also explained the menu thoroughly. Didn't have to wait long in between meals.quality of food was superb. Can't wait to go back

This our 4th trip to the Black Rock grill, and again the food was perfect, the staff cannot do enough to help you. If you are going plan to be there for some time this is definately not a fast food restaurant but a meal to be lingered over and enjoyed. We will definately be back!

Appears expensive but it well worth the money, the meat is lovely and the atmosphere is lovely, the service is good and it is a lovely evening. The best thing is cooking your own meat how you want it and it's a fun unique dining experience
