We ate here last night and found the food to be very disappointing compared to Ricci's Tapas which we visited the previous weekend. The starter of antipasto which we shared was okay, we then order half portions of pasta (arrabbiata) and the pasta was over cooked and wet. Also, there were too many whole olives - strange twist. Finally, for... More

A nice way to start the weekend with breakfast at Ricci's place with fresh orange juice, full English breakfast and granary toast. Other options are available e.g fruit platter, omlettes, egg Benedict. Back in January I had hash browns, steak and eggs for breakfast as a birthday treat. Can also recommended going for lunch or in an evening but would... More

Visited here on Saturday night for the 1st time. The restaurant was busy but we had pre booked our table. There is a great selection on the menu and quite reasonably priced too. The food was freshly cooked and was delicious. 3 out of 4 of the party had a steak and they were cooked to perfection. The staff were... More

Ordered the ice cream dessert and sat inside with a friend who ordered cake with ice cream. Hers was served on a plate with a slice of cake and scoop of ice cream on the side - as you'd expect. However, my trio of ice creams all came completely squashed together in a tiny cardboard tub that you get from... More

since moving into Halifax, I have been pass a dozen time and finally got a chance to try this place. it looks expensive from the outside but was surprised at the value compared to quality. Within a week, I've tried breakfast, and dinner. (and kind of addicted)The sticky toffee pudding is the best I've ever had. (personally preference would be... More

What a find! I travel for work and am very often struggling to find some where descent to eat that is not to expensive but delivers lovely food, NOT this week. Ricci's place is truly BRILLIANT. Cracking food, in a fabulous restaurant with very welcoming staff. I went Tuesday night on my own but on Wednesday night I was joined... More

Tried ricci's for the first time, chose starter and main off the specials menu which had lots of choice. Very reasonably priced for large portions. Would def go back as food was delicious. Just ensure you book a few weeks in advance if you want a table on a sat night.

As always the food was superb, dishes are a little bit different from the usual Italian restaurant menu. Portions are very generous and choose your starter carefully or you'll be too full for your main. The home made green pesto is gorgeous and I never leave without a takeaway portion. Try to book in advance as this restaurant gets very... More
