After living on Hayling for 6 years decided instead of going to port Solent for Indian to try the Hayling restaurants, so far we have tried 3, the food here was ok £5 more for the same dishes as another restaurant that's walking distance and better quality! The staff we're ok nothing stood out, the chicken in the Korma was... More

We had a huge takeaway party for 40 people, and the Moghul did the catering. Every dish was delicious, we must have had the whole menu, tender tandooris, and all the favourites, beautifully cooked. Now all we need to do is visit the actual restaurant, and we certainly will.

We were taken out to The Moghul by our friends for a celebration. The restaurant was in its usual immaculately clean condition, the tables laid and set out well. The staff were super attentive to all our needs. The food arrived promptly and was excellent, all the dishes that were chosen by us all were piping hot and flavoursome. Nothing... More

We went last night to this restaurant and everything about the evening was lovely. The staff were so helpful and very friendly and the food was so tasty. The cosy atmosphere just added the evening. I wanted the naga chilli chicken and the waiter was concerned that this may be too hot for me so he suggested that the chef... More

Great food, great friendly service, so tasty! Highly recommend the tandoori chicken sagwala! The best we have ever had! Shared popadoms, prawn puri and sheek kabab. Then 3 mains and 3 sides... The mushroom rice managed to stretch to 3 of us! And we had sag aloo made with fresh new potatoes! Lovely! So popadoms, 2 starters, 3 mains 3... More

I returned to this restaurant on 19 Dec with a party of 8 and was a little apprehensive as to what the service would be like as it was close to Christmas. I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was full and it seemed that the staff thrived on this, unlike my last visit in the summer when it was very... More

We have been to the Moghul many times as we used to live on Hayling Island. Now we have moved off the island about 6 months ago, we haven't been back until this evening as not so local. Tried other Indian restaurants, but found nothing that compares. The staff in the Moghul are so welcoming and really love their job.... More

We've eaten here a few times, the staff are friendly, the food is tasty without being exceptional but a bit expensive. 4 main course dishes, 2 onion bhaji, 2 rice,4 breads, 3 beers and a coke came to £80 + tip which is a bit heavy for a quick mid week meal.

Let me start by saying that I have eaten thousands of Indian meals (some in India) in hundreds of restaurants but visiting here late evening was a wonderful surprise. On entering you realise from the atmosphere that this place is a 'cut above' your average Indian restaurant, from the comfort of the seating and the decor to the quality of... More
