This pub is our local and we visit it at least once a week (more in the Summer as its right next to the local primary school). We went on Easter Sunday and again last Friday. The food was hot on both occasions but very limited on the Sunday late afternoon - no mash, no sausages, etc. We've found that... More

Being a sunny busy day nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff and manager. The barman helped me choose the right drink and the waitress recommended a nice chilli cheese hot dog and the manager even bought me a bowl of water for my dog as we were sitting in the beer garden. I will definitely be... More

we have been here to eat or just to drink a few times but last Saturday had to wait nearly an hour for our food! asked to speak to the manager who had such a bad attitude and an answer for everything a little courtesy, apologies for the delay and the offer of a free drink or dessert would have... We popped in here as its next to our local Tesco. Was fairly busy for a Saturday lunchtime. I originally went for fish and chips and my husband a burger from there new BURGERS FROM THE GRILL section. Sadly there was no fish, possibly indicates that they really do batter their fish fresh to order. I went for a burger and... More

Booked this restaurant because it's close to where my sisters live. It was for my mum's birthday. Despite 2 very large groups, we were served very quickly & efficiently. Food was very good and all correct, staff were rushed off their feet, but were still real friendly. Overall a really good nite.

My tuna jacket potato arrived cold. It had to be returned. A new one arrived hotter with less tuna. Over all it was disappointing. We were a party of 10 apart from a salad meal we were all pretty disappointed in our meals one way or another.
