took my mother to the Potters Arms and for less than £20 we had drinks and a two course meal and an extra serving of chips! The staff were friendly and efficient and the building and toilets were clean and tidy. We choose from the two for £10 menu and was pleasantly surprised at the portion size and the quality... More

This restaurant had friendly staff, which was the only positive thing about it seeing as I go there every week without fail and when I ask for a well done steak I received a bright pink chewy rare steak, and a couple of times our dinner hasn't even covered half the plate! Apart from that, we were OK with the... More

We visited the Potters Arms on a Friday night. It was fairly busy but had no problem finding a seat. I opted for the buffet because it looked very appetising and my husband had the rack of ribs. When I went to pay I noticed the system wasn't particularly effcient. The very friendly server not only had to take food... More

I had a very nice welcome from staff. Atmosphere was very good, service was excellent. The food was beautifully presented and the staff were very helpful. Lovely clean restaurant, tables where cleared very promptly. I will certainly be going back, I will make it in the evening with my husband and friends next time, so hopefully the service will be... I have been here a few times recently last time in February and always have the buffet. Chip shop buffet and others are always well stocked when I have visited and staff are always friendly and helpful. Keep up the good work.

Having visited a few years ago & having read many bad reviews, I was not looking forward to a family lunch here but I was pleasantly surprised. My first impression was of a lot of debris on the floor and not enough chairs for our booked group but more chairs were brought quickly and I can allow a bit of... More

I have reviewed this restaurant in the past and let everyone know how bad it was but it appears that the bad comments have been addressed. We went there on a Sunday but did not have the carvery, instead we had a sirloin steak each. Surprise, surprise it was very good, nicely cooked and hot. A few more chips would... More

We went to the Potters Arms for lunch whilst on a Christmas shopping trip to Harlow. We arrived around 1.30pm but had no trouble finding a table. We ordered from the '2 meals for £10' menu, I choose sausage, chips & beans, my partner had smothered chicken. Both meals arrived quickly, were hot, very tasty and the portion sizes were... More

We went to this place on Sat for a mate's birthday meal, went to the bar as soon as we got there, first two drinks we asked for they didn't do so ended up with choice no 3, When ordering the meals we had to give the table number but they didn't bother checking the table with each meal that... More
