Pleasant surprise

Popped in for lunch on the way past. Lovely young man called Leon served us and at least5 other tables around us politely and speedily. His tone was courteous and friendly especially to an older couple. So nice to be served by someone who understands 'service'

Food average. Service indifferent. Chef area noisy and sounded like some kind of heated argument was in progress. Music overloud and the style not inducinve to eating. Doubt we will be returning again. We were hoping that after the re-vamp things would pick up - sadly they have not. There is one paticular member of staff who has been here... More

I liked their was ample parking available but bad points were the cod was very overcooked, the mushy peas had a seal on them which showed they had been sitting around for a long time. The desserts took longer than the rest of the meal to come out. The service was ok but unless you were a regular you did... More

We ate here two nights in a row after staying locally during the Easter break. We expected it to be busy as it was Easter half term but as a national chain we sort of knew what we'd be getting and the kids would have plenty of choice. We'd only planned to eat here the first night of our stay... More

After initialling arriving to be told they were very busy and someone would be over to take our order shortly, 20 minutes later - still no one had taken an order. I got up and asked how long it would be and then someone came over and took it. We had to ask for crumpets - they had ran out,... More

My daughter and her boyfriend aged 17 had decided to go to the harvester for the first time together this evening, they were met by a very rude woman who questioned their age and made them feel very uncomfortable then told them there was no table for them for an hour and in a very nasty tone said "so what... Visited the Harvester for breakfast on 28th March. Lovely, friendly, efficient staff in a relaxed atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast all hot and tastey

I used to be a regular customer but will not be returning. Firstly we were seated next to the kitchen entrance with a high chair causing staff to push past us huffing because of the narrow gap. I am unsure how it is the customers fault for where they are seated. It took 15 minutes after ordering drinks for them... More

Having been to this 'restaurant' on a number of occasions, all I can say is that its death knell is sounding. On a recent visit, we experienced a very cold eating area, poor service, poor food and a complete ambivalence towards unhappy customers. Never again!! Roll on the new Hungry horse in Hinckley!

We went to experience the newly refurbished Three Pots having enjoyed their food previously and given good reviews. However this time was a let down from start to finish. Our main meal came out lukewarm, I ate mine very quickly but my husband gave up after a couple of mouthfuls and left it. The waitress didn't comment when my husband... More
