Visited the Peerie twice during our stay in Lerwick. Service is friendly and efficient. They make good use of local produce and menu and food are good. Great fish soup and strawberry sponge - yummy.Well worth a visit at any time of day.

This is a really nice little place to stop off for coffee and cake. The selection of cakes is good and the cup cakes are great!

Nice wee cafe with good service, excellent sandwich, decent coffee. Quirky decor in a lovely old harbour building.

A lovely wee cafe/coffee shop in the town of Lerwick. Great for that home made sandwich before you board the ferry

My wife and I visited this café a number of times during our recent visit to Shetland. They have an extensive menu serving every taste. Our visits alway featured Coffee and Cake. They have an excellent selection, from simple Scones and Muffins to the more exotic, and highly indulgent Cheesecake. All of which are home made. There is limited seating... More

I love good coffee but I drink decaf coffee. Trying to find a place that does good decaf coffee is a challenge but I found it at Peerie Shop Cafe. The home made soup is wonderful and the scones were delicious and quite large. The staff were friendly and very efficient. Highly recommend.

Almost walked past this place when I was looking for a cafe for lunch. Excellent local food and reasonable cost, cafe is right in the centre of town across from the harbour

Saw this advert in the Shetland food guide for places to eat. My husband and I were not disappointed. We called in for a coffee in the morning and liked the atmosphere so decided to make this our lunch stop too. We had home made soup and bread followed by their home made scones which we enjoyed very much. It... More

Came off the overnight ferry from Aberdeen and stumbled over this cafe just opening at 9am. We each had scrambled egg on toast and coffee - just what we needed!
