Central location.

Excellent food and atmosphere. Staff friendly and very helpful. A good central place to lunch. You can book for dinner which would be a good idea in the tourist season.

Spent an hour here, actually did not eat anything, but the food looked good. Was on a cruise and used the wifi, and enjoyed sitting and getting out of the cold. Everyone was kind. It did get busy when lunch started to roll around so we left.

Superb food and service. We ended up eating here several times because the food was so fresh and the service was excellent.

Lovely licensed cafe serving simple, good food well into the evening. I returned 3 times over 2 days.

the food there was lovely, really great selection of cakes and sea food. The shop is more geared towards visitors from the cruise ships and there was a few times we went in to be told this or that table was reserved, and the table lay empty whilst we were in and out waiting for tables. We tried to eat... More

We consider a trip here for soup and a bannock or cheese scone to be one worth making. The coffee is really good too. There is no doubt that it can get very busy and the cake offering can diminish by early afternoon but if you can get there early enough on a day without cruise passengers in attendance you... More

After waiting to be seated you then have to get up to go and order the food from the very grumpy rude staff, who obviously consider customers to be an inconvenience. The food, when it was eventually slapped down in front of us was average and expensive..

The food was what it said: real, real tasty and wholesome! The soup was very satisfying and the rhubarb and apple crumble was really good, too bad we were sharing!

Visited this "kitchen cafe" twice on my holiday to Orkney, both times I found the food to be too expensive although it was tasty. The service and manner of the staff left a lot to be desired. I visit Orkney every year but I can honestly say I will never return to this kitchen cafe.

This café was one of our favorite places to eat. It is conveniently located across from the St. Magnus cathedral. The restaurant is at the back of the building and at first, it isn’t obvious that it is there. Our favorite was quiche with a selection of salads.
