Ok so called this place the day before to check on gluten free range, said everything could be adapted. We got there and the beer garden was underwhelming, facing the car park with astroturf for grass.Ordered at the bar and explained we were gluten and diary intolerant. The first time I had a problem here was when we were having out Sunday lunch and my baby needed his nappy changing! When I asked where I could change his nappy I was told they didn't have changing facilities but I could go and change him in my car! It was far to cold outside to even consider this!... More

This pub is recommended in the Good Pub Guide, I wonder when it was last inspected. The interior is very dated , not too clean, the food poor. We ordered rack of lamb then it took them 5 minutes to tell me it was finished, I chose a steak which I asked for medium rare - it would have been... More

We thought a prawn cocktail would be the easy option, alas no, not at this pub. It was the smallest amount of shrimps on an old lettuce leaf with a dollop of Hellmans Cocktail sauce.
