As there was no Vegan choice on the menu the chef rustled up a lovely stir fry for our grandson and took the trouble to enquire what... More

Stopped en route from Scotland back south to England. Very friendly welcome and order (Omelette, sandwich, portion of chips, cup of tea and glass of coke) quickly taken. Disappointingly only the omelette and sandwich arrived although when we went to pay the manager initially tried to charge us go all items ordered. However she was very apologetic when her mistake... Have eaten here several times this year and the food has been very good on each occasion. Prices are reasonable and the staff helpful and friendly. The restaurant and bar have a lovely cosy atmosphere. Only niggle is the seating is a little on the hard side for me and could be improved but this would not stop me recommending... More

We found this hotel on Doggie pubs . Org. UK as there was 4 adults 2 kids and 4 dogs looking for a place to have dinner and a few drinks. On arriving at 5pm and dinner service not starting till 6pm, the kind lady suggested that they would start serving early if that would be more convenient . We... More

We were so glad that we called into the Kings Arms on New Years's Day. I had the macaroni cheese and my husband had the chicken stuffed with haggis and bacon. Both meals were absolutely delicious, piping hot and generous in size. Great value for money. The staff and locals were very welcoming. Generally a lovely atmosphere. We also loved... More

Called in here for a quick lunch as we knew there was a new chef and menu. My wife and daughter had lovely cream of mushroom soup and really nice prawn sandwich. I had macaroni cheese accompanied by chips and plentiful side salad. Much better than previous visits and good value. Well worth a visit
